He was about to go on a tear also, he always gets 'hot' for the 2nd condition book, which is starting May 28th.

I agree. Wonder who Cooper will end up with if Rene's out for a while. He was supposed to have Rene and Jara. And since I know you know AP.. whomever has Cooper as their jock agent, wins the jock title and is always on a live mount.

Jara is still in Panama, my guess is that Cooper will ship someone in from somewhere

that was so phoney

mena rode that horse like an idiot , there was no doubt he was going to quit the whole time. Even that cheap ass 1 was being held up in 2nd to stay off that pace.

the horse is running off like a maniac up front. and the track announcer says "he is CRUIS-ING" because of the numbers on the screen.

Have to watch that replay and hand time it. Either the fractions are way off or the track is slow as ****, because it said 113 and the horse was going much to fast early.

Here's the latest I found on Rene. No word I've seen on the horse.

Douglas, who was conscious and alert, was taken directly to Northwest Community Hospital after complaining of back pain and soreness in his neck. No further information is available on Douglas's condition at this time.

I was there for 2 races, some Simon runners were getting some schooling during the 2nd race paddock and was seeing the process. Red shirt, plaid shorts, and just woke up hair??

I'll be there tomorrow, come say Hi

A few pics the Mrs took yesterday:

She doesn't usually bet but knows how to, she told me she really liked this horse, I of course told her the 9 was a lock and didn't listen to her and only used the 7 underneath

Euphony

Will give you an idea on how small of a horse she is compared to Indescribable the 9

That is a really good picture of Giant Oak

Well, he hurt me a whole lot -- but I was really impressed with him...and he looks like a monster, you're right about that.

What a run. Very interested to see what he does next out when the waters presumably get deeper

How is the field going to be any different next out, if anything, it might be a short field because some of these horses showed up for that 'bonus' try....

might be a euro shipper or 2 (Weld normally ships for it, then stays for Secretariat).

I'm not a ferrier so I have to ask what are those on Giant Oak's feet? Bar Shoes? Anyone know a good website to see the different options they have?
