Everyone just stop with the referee stuff...just stop. Please. So if the Cavs magically somehow beat the Magic and Lakers/Nuggets, I'm going to hear how it was only because David Stern handed it to them because LeBron needed to win the title. Stop it everyone, please.

Hey you said your lifetime... and in my lifetime it was the same thing until last year...

well, miracles happen I guess! Look at my first post on the NBA playoffs. I stated unequivacally that the Garnett injury was the absolute worst thing to happen to the Cavs as this would allow the Magic to beat the Celtics (of course the Garnett injury was worse for the Celtics!!)...which is why I went with a Magic/Lakers final. The Magic counting last night have won 9 of the last 12 meetings with Cleveland. That doesn't happen by accident. There is just a matchup issue for Cleveland with them. I actually didn't pick the Magic because of the Cleveland never wins thing...I watched two of the three games they played this year. The Magic mauled them the two I saw, and the third in Cleveland was tight the whole way and Cleveland pulled it out late...similar to last night but Orlando pulled it out. Orlando has arguably outplayed them 4 of 4 games this year and as I said won 9 of the last 12 between the two. That is enough of a sample for me to say Cleveland has some issues with that team. The Cleveland never wins thing doesn't mean a thing in today's matchups, it just adds to the story for me personally!!

And even wronger on this.

Howard proved that Perkins was just a bad matchup for him because of his strength. Perk's one of the NBA's dozen or so strongest players, and against the average center, Howard can dominate offensively and defensively. It's really about to be do or die time for Andrew Bynum to see if he's a legitimate starting center based on what he can do against Howard.

Orlando is a really good team, and doesn't take nights off like the Lakers do. They also have enough athletic wings to bother Kobe and Gasol will turtle up again if he can't get his way. Van Gundy is nuts if he puts Howard on anybody but Gasol if he's not in foul trouble. Everyone's going to pick L.A. like they did last year, but this Magic team has proven itself over and over in these playoffs.

By the way, specially for The Bid:

About sums up this guy's worth.
