And all this time I thought this thread was about Golden Missile.

We've got one in the pipeline... Set to make his debut next Sunday.. He's a pretty quick son of a gun. Out of Salt Water Reign's dam, Top Ruhl.

This stallion has no Storm Cat blood in him at all, therefore it's all irrelevant.
If you want to rail against Terlingua, that's fine. I guess. |

This summarizes Desert Warrior's 2009 to date .
http://www.nybreds.com/frames/FS_stallionnews.html "The 16:2-hand stallion is from the immediate female family of multiple leading North American sire Storm Cat and like Storm Cat (as well as other prominent sires A.P. Indy and Gone West), he is out of a Secretariat mare." |

I've said this many times, that i don't know anything about pedigree. Add conformation to my list. When you say spectacular, I was wondering if you could give the idiots version (me, not you) as to why. I look at this a see a nice picture and that sounds really dumb but hey, it's true. What is it you see... what is it you look for? What's bad as opposed to good? What's special about him, what are others lacking? Thanks in advance. :) |
A little over exuberance I'm afraid. Not "irrational exuberance", in Greenspan's word.
I think he offers a lot of the Storm Cat genes at a reasonable price . He is also bred like Go Deputy and Dehere. He had more NY winners than any other stallion in 2008 . He is currently 2nd on the NY sire list. Not "spectacular" but he is doing good and deserves to be noted in a thread of his own, imo. Thanks to all who voted one way or the other. |
