Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! They are all much appreciated. Was surprised this morning by my better half when I opened my closet, only to find that my Donovan McNabb NFC Pro Bowl jersey was autographed by him. Tough to have a bad day after that. He's my favorite active athlete and takes a back seat only to The Admiral, David Robinson.
Headed out to dinner @ newly opened Del Frisco's in Center City with my folks and the future in-laws. I'm hearing whispers of another surprise gift. Can't wait.
Thanks again for the well wishes. It was a most pleasant day, made even better by everyone here.
PS. My Birds are stringing a few key wins together here, as predicted. I like to look at it as the 'dangling of the carrot'. I have a different feeling about this year though. Getting healthy and hitting stride at the right time. :{>: ...Praying for them to keep playing this way and for TB to beat the Falcons this weekend so that we control our own destiny.
EDIT:: I was floored, when after dessert, my brother came from the back (bar-back there) with a football signed by the 2008-2009 Eagles roster. I almost lost it. My mom said my face turned white as a ghost. Best gift EVAH!
