I was anxiously awaiting the Delta Princess selections followed by a Beulah Park recap.

Completely unrelated, I noticed Saturday the purses at Beulah Park were $71,000.

OH MY GOD.

Morty needs a regular spot on the show....he actually sounded a little like Gary West barely awake but still firing barbs in a coma. Pretty funny stuff actually. Nice to know Morty has his finger on the pulse of Ohio racing.......lol.

Steve..thank you for having me as your key guest on your fine program. I would like to pass on a few suggestions to get cleaned up for my next appearance:

1...Never sandwich me between 2 yuk-em-ups like that again.

2...Don't keep me waiting like you did this time.

3...Do not ask me any horsey related questions...unless it's regarding my handicapping a particular card;and then let me fly with it....NO questions.

4...Never again clog up my air time with Sterling nonsense....he gets plenty of that stuff everywhere else.

5...I am very much under the weather,but had you given me just a little more time instead of constantly cutting me off, I really had some fine material to present.Let's not let this happen again.

6...All in all.....you do a fine show. You seem to be an articulate gentleman and good at what you do---whatever that is.

Thanks for having me...it really was fun ....impromptu as it was.

I also want you to know that I have had no public speaking training...at all.

Left my kids alone so I could go out to my truck and hear the replay this morning. Good stuff, Howard Stern beware! Sirius needs a 24-7 Morty channel.

I'm aware of this feature, but with my internet connection it was easier to go hear the replay in my truck.:o Besides, the kids are used to being locked in their little cages.:D
