Murtagh really $hit the bed with his ride on SoF. K Sheas' was just as bad. Ive never seen a horse sit right off their own "rabbit". I know they ride differently over in Europe, but noone is gonna win a BC race run over here sitting up close and being put under an all out ride 5f from home.

Very difficult to argue that position judged on the evidence of this season as a whole. Murtagh has merely had fewer winners this back-end as O'Brien's horses have gone over the top.

I think his ride on 60's Icon looked a little worse than what it really was, I can see why you would think that however it seemed the horse was not as full of run as Trevor called, I also disagree with the analysis that he was stopped on the turn. He just couldn't hit the hole when Frankie got him out and that is usually a sign he had no horse. What's wrong with the ride on Diabolical?

Any chance Kinane gets back with Coolmore? He is clearly better than Murtagh in my opinion.

Not really defending Murtagh, but if you watch some of SoF races, while he is a very nice horse, he is pretty one paced. Not real impressive in the turn of foot department.
