This is probably who I will go with as well...This may be too stout for siren lure off the layoff and age factor... Desert Code is a bit scary on the outside with a sure bet to get a good trip... But Funky (even with a bad trip) should hit the board...

Being from MS I like the choice... If I still have money by the 7th I will have to put some money down... but not my choice for the showvivor... like funky in the 8th...

Will probably go with Costa Marta, although Heatology's fast work at SA indicates better to come. The Baffert firster worked the same distance in the same time on the same day, but all things being equal, I prefer a horse with race experience, especially at this distance. Fairplex (I still think of it as the Pomona Fair) form has to be taken with a grain of salt; I see Runway Starlet as bred for 2 turns, which she got at Fpx.

I've got Cherokee Artist in the 6th.
figures the shortest field is the 2YO race.... and I avoid the 2YO's for these contests big time

No I stuck with her. I was a bit disappointed Heatology was sent to the lead.....normally Unusual Heats like to come from off the pace. But whatever. I got knocked out on the first day woo hoo!!
