so now, 21 posts (counting mine) in a thread in which the start of the thread is essentially incorrect?
with zenyatta, she's always going to be the class of a field going in. ginger punch managed a third to her, so i don't think anyone is going to argue that zenyatta far and away heads the distaff division. but we all know the record of unbeatens, so it's safe to say that eventually this horse will lose. trick is finding when. but again, if there was no strong stand at the seminar, the rest of this thread is moot. |

According to Crist Blog - Zenyatta is a daughter of Street Sense. Perhaps a clever ploy to get me to dislike her?
"Zenyatta, now 7 for 7, is just plain fun to watch. The massive daughter of Street Sense looked like a Clydesdale running down ponies yesterday as she trailed early and kicked in when it mattered:" At least he didn't say she was by Saarland. |
Just to be fair and balanced, Jerry Brown at Sunday's Carolina Barbecue Seminar gave out $110.00 winner HINT in the nightcap as well as what amounted to the late P3 for $1,820.
Oh.. and he held 2 of the 3 consolation tickets in the P6 ($8,700 2X for $17,000). If Demaliat wins the 8th race, he would have taken down the entire $100,000+ P6 pool. Point being that the way in which Brown and his other TG veterans play is designed to win big when the moment is right. And it's right frequently. |
