Nope..can't take credit for that. I haven't met Sumwon yet, but from what I understand, it's hard to find a nicer horse than she...plus, she can run too

LOL

Congrats on her placing the other day! Do you think you'll eventually have her bred?

Eventually is the operative word, but I'm of the school if she can run and wants to run, then that's what I really want to do. But Chuck and others have a big voice as well so who knows. Just glad to take a small bite out of that barn fee for now

You're welcome - she was very sweet on Sunday, maybe as bit full of herself knowing that she was going to do well in her race. She was really loving the fan blowing on her and was definitely up for some good neck and poll scratching.

Congrats on the place finish with her and good luck with her.

Best of luck in the future.

Thank you..I'm in this for the long haul, or as long as I have money..
Trying some yearlings with Chuck at Keeneland next month trying to build a stable over the next 5 years. It should be interesting....

I absolutely love looking at the yearlings and attending the sales. It is such an interesting atmosphere and there is so much to learn through each horse you look at...you'll have a great time. Please let us know what you pick up so we can all live vicariously through you!

I actually found Top Royelle to be every bit as friendly as Sumwon. By the end she was getting close to 50% of my attention.

I think Bob knows I didn't mean that she was unfriendly but Sumwon is more the 'cuddly' type, at least she was last night.

At least she didn't try to steal my purse like Sumwon, but she was still checking out her feed bin so maybe next time. :D

Top Royelle

is Top Royelle the horse that was stabled next to Sumwon at Churchill?

I believe so, although someone ( no pun intended) who was there can probably answer better

Think she was on the opposite side. You may be referring to Ben's League.

If you're just talking about personality Ben wins the showmanship and comedy awards. IMO Think he wanted to come to dinner with us in Louisville.
