ArlJim,
If you found it laughable, so be it.
I find nothing funny in the fact that this executive order allows the feds to sieze you assets, based on the suspicion that you might become engaged in "acts" that assist the opposing forces in Iraq, whether you've done so or are expected to do so...or maybe one of your friends has.
And here, all the while, I was worried that the terrorists would come here and take away my freedom, and Constitutional rights.
Oh, right, we're spreading "democracy" around the world.
While here in the USA, the junta just took away what was once called "liberty".
ps...Ask Sen A Spector (R) if he believes the Justice dept under the leadership of Gonzo can be trusted to preserve either truth, justice, or the American way.

Have a nice laugh.

As usual, you take the extreme view! Don't worry about the govt taking your rights....the left could possibly win in 2008....and roll out the red carpet for the terrorists with their sweeping negotiations for peace and understanding! Bull-Pucky:cool:

paranoia...pure and simple. do you also hear the black helicopters at night?
Bush is not after our assets and did not take away your freedoms. unless as part of your freedom you like to engage in terrorist fundraising activity.

what is he supposed to do sit on his hands and do nothing while supposedly peaceful religious groups abuse our system and use the freedoms we enjoy to support those who want to kill us?

Oh those terrorists would never be so dishonorable as to cross our north and south borders we have been so keen to guard with the honor system.
