Perhaps he was playing his odometer reading and he wasn't sure if he should use the reading when he left the house or when he parked at the track? So he played both..LOL

There was a lady at Golden Gate that did that and hit the P6.

Just listening on tvg and they said it was a physical ticket from a teller(thats been discussed) and the person bet $10 on pick-6 tickets and cashed two tickets... thats a pretty good ROI

ALostTexan 07-05-2007 10:07 PM

Yeah, but the idiot still had $6 in losing tickets...

skippy3481 07-05-2007 10:09 PM

no no no $4 in losing tickets. I mean hes no pg1985 but i guess everyone has to start somewhere.Wow they just showed the two people on tv. Its entirely possible they just got lucky.

ALostTexan 07-05-2007 10:12 PM

Oh, thats right, he did have a $4 ticket in there. What, wasn't confident and had to throw in an extra in one of the races?

skippy3481 07-05-2007 10:14 PM

I'm happy for them looks like either a father and daughter or husband and wife( i can't tell) He looks about 50ish shes maybe mid 30's. They were in the winners circle getting their picture taken.

skippy3481 07-05-2007 10:20 PM

Oh dear lord, complete dumb luck i love it. Um my dad he uh studies the cards and i pick out names i like. and then we uh heard about the rollover and uh we decided to play. Didn't even watch the races, didn't find out till this morning. The two tickets were a mistake. He only meant to punch one.

The Bid 07-05-2007 10:23 PM

Doesnt matter how much you know in this game luck is always involved. Thats what keeps those license plate, address, birthday guys coming back. Godbless them for just showing up and punching a ticket out.

The story about the refrigerator was hilarious. I am happy for them. They seem real nice and down the earth. Glad they won it instead of some syndicate.

skippy3481 07-05-2007 10:24 PM

Texan he also hit a conso so he had $8 in winners and only one loser... thats pretty strong.

skippy3481 07-05-2007 10:25 PM

Oh i agree, they seem like average people and really for just finding out she won a million she's pretty even keeled. She's actually more entertaining then these two guys. Wasen't poking fun at all. I spent like 6 hours on the card and had 2 winners. She picks names and between her and her dad pound it twice. I love it.
