I thought any sentence that contined the words Darko Milicic, the nonsensical nature of it would be obvious. But if I get maybe 500 or 800 to 1 odds or something like that, maybe...after all I said in a year...not 5 or 6??

I'm good...even mortimer can't tell when I'm serious or not.

Your kidding?
Howard is a force. But so far a Shaq-like force. I want to see how his skills progress. Darko I cant say. Just have not seen him enough. I like Nelson.

No Grant Hill. Starting forward and go to scorer with range is Hedo Turkeybreath. Yikes. No way. The cornerstone needs some support. FINALS?????????? Yikes and Nopes.

Didn't you read my last post on the topic? Yes kidding I was. I was joking about Darko...but he is actually improving a bit. But just don't think he'll reach the level of some others in that draft!!

OOps.
Thought you were serious.

I humbly bow and prostrate myself before you.

Florida's incoming recruits were not the first to call Lucas, however. A future Wildcat actually dialed him first.

"The first person to call me was Patrick Patterson," said a laughing Lucas. "He said, 'I told you so' and told me to quit playing around and come to Kentucky."

HAHA!!!! Kentucky will now dominate the SEC once again!!!!!!! Everything is how it should be!!!

MISTERGEE 06-03-2007 10:50 PM

Donovan is going Kobe on us.

horseofcourse 06-04-2007 01:27 AM

HE spent the last 3 days watching Darko tapes and figured the freshman coming in to replace Noah and Horford were a better bet!!!

GPK 06-04-2007 04:22 AM

Make up your damn mind already...

and, after four days, the bloom is off the rose, orlando is going to let him out of his contract before the ink is dry, and back to gator-ville he goes.

and they say women can't make up their minds! pfffft.

Samarta 06-04-2007 06:13 AM

apparently this is much easier because he hasn't signed the deal yet..only agreed in principle.....see these college guys always think the grass is greener.....these guys are heros in their towns...they make millions of dollars, can do no wrong, but they have to test the next level....well lucky for him, he figured it out before it was too late...

timmgirvan 06-04-2007 06:29 AM

Actually, according to ESPN, BD has signed the contract...and the Magic immediately received 200 season ticket orders! The question is not whether he'll go back to UF, but whether there will be a financial impact to get out of contract!

pgardn 06-04-2007 08:15 AM

Not only did he sign, it does indeed sound like Orlando is going to hold him to it. Timm... this is really strange. What does Orlando gain by holding him to the contract? Are they trying to change his mind again with the threat of losing $. That would be bizarre...

"Hi. I am Billy Donovan fresh out of coaching college. I am now your new professional basketball coach, but I really dont want to be here"

That does not work for Orlando. He really has to go back to Florida. But is Orlando really going to try and go legal on him and hurt him monetarily? Florida will of course take him back with open arms, crying and sobbing.

This is really an interesting story.

God forbid he's a human being with remorse. I'd rather it this way than 2 years in the NBA leaving. You guys are harsh...

SentToStud 06-04-2007 02:21 PM

He can stay at Florida until he dies, if that's what he wants. If he went to the NBA he's make $10 Mil more over the next 5 years but most likely would have got fired after 2-3 years. Guess he figured 3.5 million a year is enough, especially since he'll have a job for as long as he wants.

I heard his wife didn't want to move. I blame her for the whole thing.

Well, they're a rival, you know I have to give him some crap since he turned my team down too. No hard feelings..;)
