Does life get any better?

It sure would be better if Pedro had not been spanked in the first inning. I hate the Red Sox AND the Yankees. I am a Tribe fan. I was alive (barely) when the Tribe won their last World Series.

I love Pad Thai. Tried it for the first time (against my will) last fall on Jockey Club Gold Cup day and loved it.

Thai food is a wonderful thing. Manny Ramirez is one scary sob. I wish he was still with the Tribe.

There's a few racetrack theme cookbooks out there... I have a cookbook collection of about 150... and tons of corporate brand brochure pamphlet type cookbooks.

Sizeable collection of antique Procter & Gamble items as well from my days there. Bottle of 'Joy' from its' intro year (1948)... Bars of Lenox, Bob-White and Ivory Soap going back well before 1900.. Box of 'Chipso'... "The Story of Crisco", a hysterical book from around 1935... all kinds of stuff...

Im very objective.....but that sounds a little too extreme.

Ironically I did have salmon steak with ****tail sauce for dinner and a peanut butter & jelly sanwich for dessert.

i overcooked the chops, again. cooked in veggy oil to brown on both sides after flour, then added water but overcooked

corn was great, garlic salt is perfect for it with loads of butter

peas were great

Have a great night and day tomorrow!
