Stock market is the old way of making money. It is a vehicle for some sort of retirement these days unless you are super loaded. There are a couple of stocks out that that I like. One symbol is TCBK. It is a bank in California. The other is SIRI--Sirius Radio. Both are pretty cheap. Of course you could always short an oil stock once a Democrat gewts elected.

Satellite Radios are going to tank. Be careful. As for stock in oil companies, while this is a crooked administration that takes care of big oil, the price of crude is never going down again until they get the Oil Sands in Alberta running a little more efficiently. Real estate stocks though are likely to tumble as rates tick up.

You think they are going to tank? I think XM will survive, but I am hoping SIRI will get bought. True about the price of crude, but you never know. I also agree on Real Estate stocks.

Another huge difference is Euro is nice to Oracle. Kycher was not.
And Kycher was very cheap and didnt bet more than a dollar or two per race. Euro seems like he "sends it in".

Euro is NO way Ky. Euro has knowledge of racing. Ky didnt know that they had allowance races for two year olds until someone told him.

Who is Kycher? And why I am I being compared to him? And how can someone not know there are allowance races for two year olds. What do you expect, all of them to do go straight to claiming or stakes races.

Here's one that I just discovered, Eurobounce is none other than the KentuckyCherub,similarities, Euro and KY claim to live in the same area, Euro and Ky only post during the week, very rarely if ever on weekends(I noticed he posted this weekend, but this was after I made this post). Cherub made a post about Len Bias last year, Euro just put a similar post up on the other board. Kentucky claimed to date an 18 year old at one time(he states he's in his late twenties), Euro just made the same claim. The difference is Euro is friendly with Oracle, while Cherub would go out of his way to get him fired up. Also, both believe CDI will get the NYRA.

The problem with satellite radio is that they are heavily dependent on sales to car manufacturers. Many people are buying cars with them, but realized they don't like pay a monthly fee of $12.95 for radio, which initially comes for free. The other huge problem they are facing is the internet. Almost everything on their stations can be found for free on the internet. Just look at ATRAB (on satellite but also free). I have both but they are becoming more and more useless. I used to like the sports radio and music but now I can listen to the same things for free on the internet. I probably will bail on both at the end of the year.

I am not in my late 20's - lol. I dont think I ever said that. I am in my 40's and have been for a few years. And I didnt get a home computer until recently and plus I usually work my butt off on weekend since it is the busiest time for me. Look, I dont know who this cat is, but he doesnt sound very pleasent. And I remember a month ago I was on-line with Scuds and Hooves for a pick 4 at Hollywood.

Maybe he is pumping Sirius because the guy who runs this site has a show on it. Trying to figure out who is/was who on chat rooms is insane. I spent the weekend defending myself for something I should have just laughed at.

Very good points. I wish I would have talked to you before this spring. My brother - n - law talked me into buying SIRI. He has gone down ever since. In fact, I also bought Revlon and it is down $2 since I bought it--ha ha.

I am not pumping any stock. I am not a stock person. I know tires and oil and that is about all. Maybe a little about horses but stocks--lol.....well lets say I dont know much of anything.

My wife had one of these installed in her car, she said she will not renew...

Howard Stern made his millions and Karmazin is going to do ok, but I doubt Sirious survives. If XM and SIRI were smart they would combine. There is only room for one paid service and it needs to be around $5 a month. The technology is getting better though.
