Great race. Congratulations to all you guys. She ran a big one and looked game down the stretch, the winner was just a bit too good today!

Same here. Girls Pearls appeared to get a dream trip, and when she ran by Sumwon, I figured that Sumwon might get discouraged and spit the bit, but not at all. She fought back, game as can be, and ended up well clear of third.

Looks like she's sitting on a win!

Time was over a second faster than the same race yesterday for the boys. Hard to say whether the track is that much faster today or not but pretty impressive nonetheless.

Considering how clear she was of third, I think the figure will come back pretty quick.

this should give a nice "right cross too the chin" on all the nay sayers and jealus internet trolls.......congrats to steve, chuck and all the dters...

as a side the ny dt horse is still open for investment...so get in!!

Speed didn't hold at all yesterday, so this was really impressive. Count me among the now giddy doubters who thought she was in over her head.

The McPeek filly that won the race won a pretty good maiden claiming race at Keeneland in her last start. Absolutely no shame in running a nice second to her, especially since the winner had such a good trip.
There were some other nice fillies in here as well, and your girl defeated them easily.
Very nice effort. Congratulations to all involved with her.

barn changes are one of the biggest angles out there, especially when the horse has natural speed like Sumwon does.

i always look at the cycle after a barn change, the second and third starts are usually where you often see big improvements.

Hard to say this early but I think she'll certainly Beyer in the 70s and the winner might even push 80.

I think that 80 is a stretch, but I'd say the top two horses will crack 70 almost definitely.

I was projecting a mid 60's for her today if she was able to run her race on the lead. Probably come back in the 65-70 range :)

Has Steve sent out paperwork on the NY deal? If so, I haven't gotten it.

AWESOME JOB by Chuck and his crew. Unbelievable improvement since he has had Sumwon. Chuck is the goods.

hockey2315 04-29-2007 01:29 PM

She ran very well. . . Congrats to Chuck, Steve, and all the other partners. . .

pgardn 04-29-2007 01:33 PM

To heck with the numbers guys. She ran hard and did not quit. I am very pleasantly suprised with the EFFORT. Man I hope she is ok. She has got some speed and apparently some guts. And she gets a lot of attention.

trifecta124 04-29-2007 01:35 PM

I am so pumped right now........She had a ton of fight left in her at the end of the race. Can't wait until she runs again.

Congrats to all!
