I think that Hotstufanthensome looks like a HUGE threat in here second off a big layoff and running figures competitive with the "best" in here. Obviously Jambalaya is going to tough back off of the last one. I like to throw Ramazutti out as fast as I can in any race and let him beat me.

My play would be Murch, lightly on top, and underneath in every spot. I think this horse should be a big price on the board and with any improvement off his last could contend to boost the exotics.

I'd say:

1. Murch
2. Hotstufanthensome
3. Jambalaya
4. Revved Up

I'm not being delusional putting him on top thinking he's a real threat on the top stuff, I just am using the Byk strategy of putting a horse like that on top based on the odds he'll offer. Do I think he's the most likely winner? No way. Would he surprise me completely? No.

If he moves forward any from his last, he's a threat in most spots, even if not the top spot.

I wouldn't say definitively that he's good enough to win, but this field with the exception with a very few, is wide open.

You can say that again... I never saw that one coming.

has he ever run a mile and a half though?

He doesn't run longer than 1 3/8 often. And one of his performances that I hold in relatively good esteem was his 6th at Arlington. He got beaten a bit more than two for the whole thing in the American Derby last year (I think that was it?) and that was at 1 3/16.
