Comets have life with 14 seconds left

what a run for this dump of a city with no beaches

dellinger63 06-13-2015 09:57 PM

C'mon boys let's win this one at HOME!!

can't believe the cup has once resided in a place where they serve "cabana huts".....hockey hot bed.

Danno, last night was the night if they were gonna do it.....up hill for sure now.

Love how Jonathan Droin goes from the press box to first line PP, to 4th liner, to that ******* who's trying make the 7th man once the goalie is pulled.....that's one way to get in the box score, moron. Guess Stevie Y only knocks it out of the park with #1 overalls or later 2-3rd rounders

It goes without saying that the Blackhawks would obviously love to close it out tonight, at home.

I also know the fearlessness and the ability to recover after a bad game displayed by the Lightning. This will be their 4th "elimination game" of the post season. I also know they love to win on the road, especially when being faced with elimination. And also know that the Blackhawks are supremely confident they can win in Tampa, if necessary. I'm more worried about losing in game 7 than I am about tonight. Not saying the Blackhawks can't finish it tonight, just saying if they do, they completely earned it, and I'm highly doubtful they will.

My prediction: Lightning will win tonight, and Game 7 will be decided by who scores the first goal on Wednesday - unless they can figure out how to actually keep a playable ice surface in 90+ degree heat for more than 2 minutes. Then we may have a dog fight on our hands.

Lord Stanley's Cup arrived in Chicago this morning. Don't think it will be flying anywhere for at least a week. ;)

If they close it out tonight and even Wednesday night that will make 3 Cups out of the last 6 years and qualifies them as a dynasty team in my biased opinion.

GO HAWKS!

GO HAWKS!

3 titles in 6 years in a parity-laden sport like that is 100% a dynasty.

Not a huge huge fan but the anthem will be rocking tonight. I'm hoping people will Periscope it or something.

Good thing my hockey game at Johnny's was last night and not tonight.....hopefully i'll be making my "annual" .5 mile pilgrimage down to Wrigleyville tonight to watch today's youth purge and act like they're in a lawless society, only to get hemmed up by some zip ties 10-minutes later on Clark street.

oh, and there's a Cubs game tonight can you say powder keg........KABOOM!
