I like a few that Pom looks OK, not that I am such a talent scout. I am surprised these Congrats are quick. they also look well within themselves and appear to have a nice way over getting over the ground. The Too Much Bling looked good(87) I even liked 98 a Friends lake. Go watch the Indy/Capeside Lady that one needs slop to be happy

There was a really nice Friends Lake that ran this weekend at Gulfstream. I liked Pomeroy as a racehorse.

I've noticed the jockeys at PHIL don't have a problem with the Gill horses.

They don't seem to hate Ness? Penn has missed a bunch of dates it is good to be hard getting into these races. They already draw 20 plus for the nickels?

MISTERGEE 02-16-2010 05:10 PM

Three races later ... going the same 5.5f distance - African King went 22 flat - 45 3/5 - and won a 38K alw race with Cohen in 1:04.60

African King is a pretty damn honest horse - now 9 career dirt starts with 7 wins and 2 seconds.

I'm sure Sheets guys would say that the 6 or 7 weeks rest your horse had between starts is the reason for the big top he'll get .. and he's sure to bounce next time if he runs back on short rest.

However, I think the most important thing to take out of it all is .... BET AGAINST AFRICAN KING NEXT TIME HE RUNS!

Freddy, a real positive sign for your horse happened this week.

Not only did he almost run as fast as stakes quality African King in the last race ... but the horse who went out early and dueled on the lead with him and was disposed of - he came back and totally dominated a 12 horse field at Laurel by 4.5 lengths and paid $57.80 to win.
