Since when does getting laid in college equate to being in trouble? Isnt that why most of us go away to college in the first place?

I think that's a pretty accurate statement. So much of the game is about metal toughness and focus. Pretty tough consentrating on sinking a 13 foot putt with visions of being gangbanged by a flock of strippers, co-eds, etc......That's most of the reason I suck. Unfortunately I'm thinking about if I forgot to take the garbage cans out and or drop off the dry cleaning and the s.hit I will have to take if that indeed is the case. :o

Also the squeaky clean image help him land all those mega deals. So I do agree that his father kept him and that straight and narrow path.

No, I'm not justifying his bevavior. I'm simply saying that from a psychological viewpoint, I can understand his behavior. I'm not going to judge the guy. We don't know what's it's like to be Tiger Woods. We don't know what it's like to be one of the biggest celebrities in the world. What he did is clearly wrong. There is no debate about that. But none of us are perfect.

good question. hell, tiger's wife knew what she might be getting into by marrying a big time rich celeb....the kids on the other hand have no choice, and have to hope their parents made good choices. it's always the kids who pay for crap like this, and they're just innocent victims.

as for tiger wanting to party it up...bs. life is about choices. instead of him living regretting what he didn't get to do, he should have been thankful for what he had, and relished it. respect is far easier to lose than to gain-or re-gain for that matter.

I know a girl who caught her boyfriend cheating on her by breaking into his e-mail and my first response was "what the heck were you doing reading his private e-mail?"

I don't think it was a planned thing. I don't think he was thinking that he would behave himself until he was financially set and then do whatever he wants after that. He always tried to be perfect and he did a pretty good job of it for a long time. He just wasn't able to keep it up forever.

Tiger's girlfriend while he was at Stanford was a very pretty girl.

He had a girlfriend in college. He was happy with her. Why would he have been sleeping around when he had a girlfriend? It's not as if people plan these things. It's not like he knew everything that was going to happen in his life. It's not like he knew he was going to be one of the biggest celebrities in the world. It's not as if he should have been thinking, "I better sleep around alot now because I'm going to get married when I'm in my 20s and then I'll get bored years later." He didn't know exactly how his life was going to play out.

But he screwed up, when it counted the most.

I'm sure she wasnt a dog, but my point was if you are going to cheat on someone, make it your girlfriend before your wife. Huge difference. Especially in college. Most men and women arent all that shocked to learn that their college boyfriend or girlfriend cheated.

No you are not.

If you trust your partner completely, the thought never crosses your mind. If you are thinking about checking their texts, e-mails and call lists, or have already looked, the trust is gone.

Its easy to regret once you get caught. If it wasnt worth it he wouldnt have kept doing it over and over. He's kind of a punk & thats too bad cause he's my favorite athlete ever.

If you are going to cheat on your girlfriend or boyfriend, you will also eventually cheat on your wife or husband.

i very much agree with the statement "once a cheater always a cheater"

I kind of disagree with that. So if you cheated on a girl in high school or college, that means you will eventually cheat on your wife? When you are young, you do stupid things (I know I did tons of them). But most of the time people grow up.

Thats ludicrous. I dated a girl in high school and college for 5 years and we both cheated on each other (multiple times) by the end of our relationship. We both moved on, dated other people, then eventually married other people and I have been married 4 1/2 years, and she 8 years. I havent kept up my "cheating ways' and to my knowledge neither has she.

What a dumb thing to think that if you cheat on a girlfriend/boyfriend when you are 19, you'll be inclined to cheat on your wife/husband when you are
35.

Thats the dumbest thing I have read on here in a while.

Sightseek 12-02-2009 03:25 PM

Uncly,
I've come to the conclusion that you do not have much faith in the human race. :)

I had this crap happen to me about two years ago. Caught her red handed, I got up, put my pants on, and opened the door and said "Adios"

Little did she know that I would become Mr. Chicago
