Regardless of Obama's popularity in gaining reelection the real issue is going to be how much ground the Democrats lose in 2010 and 2012 in Congress. Despite Obama's ability to remain popular despite his programs losing steam, Congress which is already very unpopular will surely be taking a big share of the blame. With The Dems having total control it isn't surprising that the vast majority of stimulus money has been deferred beyond 2009.

And you want to debate serious issues?

LOL - are you for real?

Most people who are "debating issues" get around to discussing the issues, rather than confining themselves to insulting anyone who disagrees with them.

So if you just don't know where to begin, you might try to discuss the subject at hand, rather than repeatedly proving Bill Maher is right about Republicans.

Reggie Bush would have a better shot at the presidency than Jeb. lol

Perhaps if you focused more on the issues as opposed to the rhetoric you would understand that it is you who consistently throws out insults, makes broad statements without factual evidence or makes generalizations using every possible stereotype out there.

Using Jimmy Carter and Bill Maher to "prove" your points and your rah-rah attitude about all things Obama (He is SO impressive!!!!) while casting stones at the usual GOP punching bags makes you just so intellectually superior to us Conservative people I don't know how we can attempt to debate the issues.

I mean Obama is just SO awesome! What a stylish man! What a smart man! What a crock.

GALES!!! BUSH will NOT be on the ticket in 2012.

No way no how. As Chuck and Booth Operator said, Vernon Bush and Reggie Bush... even Busch Light have better chances of being on the ticket.

Not gonna happen.

its a deal. :D

If Job IS on the ticket... I'll put ya on the greyhound to Ocala :p , where we dont have a race track or a pro sports team. But we can make a bet at the OTB, maybe go see a horse thats eating grass in a field, but good golf is something we do have!
And I'll get ya a bus ticket back to the City after we play 18 and drink 2-1's at Barbazons.

All the States that are in big economic trouble (barring California)
could easily go to a Republican in 2012 imo. Take Florida, MIchigan,
Ohio, a few more to the Republicans and its over.

THis is NOT congress calling the shots, this is Obama's baby.
Popularity turns on a dime in this country. We have no patience.
Right now imo, we dont know which way anything is going.

Anyone watch the Frontline, how the Bankers were absolutely
bullied by Paulson, Bernake, and then Obama? It may have been
necessary, but anyone who saw that could only conclude
Obama et al. are very keen on massive government intervention
with a big fat arm twisting.

I am glad I am alive because we are living in some very interesting
times. I bet the media outlets are mad as hell we have a tidal wave
of stories all at once. Look at all the events international and
domestically that have occurred. Its amazing.

johnny pinwheel 06-22-2009 09:42 PM

what about joe the plumber/palin in '12. its a sure winner. are you kidding me they must be trying to lose with people like this

gales0678 06-23-2009 07:26 AM

sarah palin will not be the nominee in 2012 or in any year

it's not going to happen folks

obama is going to leave a mess that only 1 family can clean up , and they have their better part of the entry waiting in the gate ...... Jeb

Smooth Operator 06-23-2009 03:10 PM

Alright, you've sold me, gales0678.

To hell with Condi Rice

Jeb Bush – 50 Cent ... 2012 :D
