I learned nothing at all about the sport from all the interviews with Dutrow, only about him.

On the other hand, if possible I would listen all day long to people like Pletcher, Zito, Baffert, Shug, Kiaran, etc, etc. Why? because its not all about them and you can learn something if you pay attention to what they say.

I'll take the boring, knowledgable, classy guy any day over the mouth that just wants to boast about himself.

So Terrel Owens is good for the NFL? Maybe because he gives people some one to root against.

Congrats on the big win with #4 over the weekend.

Bobby? I'm not Bobby. I didn't win anything over the weekend either.

On the subject, I am curious why Bobby Frankel got a free pass? I've never met Frankel before though he has walked by me a couple of times. But from what I have heard the guy is allegedly not the most friendly person in the world. But when he was winning everything in sight for a span of a couple of years ago everyone was hailing him as the greatest thing since sliced bread. I think he had great horses and great owners to start with, but was everything on the up and up with him? Horseracing didn't address the drug problem to the lengths they do today, and even today there is a ways to.

I miss Baffert being in the TC mix, the guy is great for the game. I would even throw in Lukas, love him or hate him the guy was great copy.

Rick did the prudent thing with putting the horse first and media second. Trainer's are not bound to speak with media as some sports are mandated to do so. Rick watched the horse cool out and had visual physical checks performed before answering to the media. Yes, this was at least a hour after the running of the race, but he acted with dignity under the circumstances later answering questions best he could.

Maybe if he ever shut his mouth before the race people would feel differently. The words "prudent" and "dignity" shouldn't be used in the same sentence as this guy.

Don't think that guy is good for anything (one exception could be him having a role in videos about mental health problems.)
