I watch Cleveland play and either Mike Brown is took the job on a deal that he listens to some analytic guy or he has really lost it. They simply play too many guys. Jack really isnt a PG. Waiters needs to play for a coach that will keep him on a short leash. They have some interesting guys but too many are one dimensional. They just cant score enough especially when Irving isnt in.

I agree about Houston. I think Harden is a top 5 player Howard a top 7 or 8 player and Parsons is the most underrated player in the entire NBA. Plus they will get something for the big guy like you said.

They just dont have a good enough bench and dont get much at all from the front court. Bogut scored 7 pts a game. His backup is O'Neil who is 100 year old. That's pretty much it. Teams cant win playoff series soley in transition and with perimeter shooting. Of course the odds that the entire roster remains healthy is remote as well.

Pretty funny you kill Carmelo for being a selfish gunner who doesnt play defense then praise Harden.

A lot of my intrigue with Cleveland was the fact that they had a lot of young parts. Waiters, Irving and Bennett. Plus Bynum if he could stay healthy and Varejo who I thought they might move and get something decent back for because he is a rebounding machine.
So far what’s actually happened is this. Bynum is just now starting to produce. Irving has played like ****. 19 a game on 39% shooting. This was supposed to be his huge year, at least I thought so??? Waiters is disgruntled and not playing well either. Bennett , so far has been a bust of epic proportions. The East sucks so Im not totally ready to write them off yet, as I still believe they could beat anyone in the playoffs other than the top 2 teams.

Carmelo is a total joke IMO.
Harden is passing the ball Chuck, you cant deny that. He is at a career high 6 assists a game this year. Carmelo is at 2.7
Harden has also improved his rebounding this year by a full rebound a game, I know Melo is rebounding the ball well this year. A huge part of that is CHandler being out.
I hate everything about Carmelo Anthony. I love Harden. They call Harden big game James for a reasson.

What do you guys think about Andre Drummond in Detroit? He seems like a future star in the making. He's had some huge games early on, and seems to only be scratching the surface in just his second year in the league...plus he's only 20. The obvious weakness is his free throw shooting.

Irving would be 1st team All NBA if he played every game against Felton and Prigioni.

Harden doesn't even try to defend. Melo has a completely dysfunctional team surrounding him. They are the same guy, one has a beard and the other is taller.

Drummond was the steal of that draft. He is more or less turning out to be what we thought Oden would be. Or maybe 90% of what we thought he'd be. He was playing really well last year until he got hurt.

I have never disagreed with you more, EVER.
Harden is a stone cold NBA superstar. Melo is one of the most overrated players EVER.

He is playing 40 mins a game on a team that plays among the fastest tempo's in the league. He is bound to get a few assists somewhere. His assist/TO rate is very low. Harden has more assists a game, Melo has more rebounds. The point is that they are both one dimensional players unlike the very best players who play both ends.

Hardens abysmal 3 point % (30.3%) this year somehow gets ignored by the fawning press and PG1985 while Josh Smith who is a far, far better defender gets killed (deservedly so) for shooting 27%.

Harden is a very good player but he clearly could be a better player if he took fewer 3 point shots, stopped turning the ball over so much and made just a bit more of a contribution of the defensive end. Pretty much like Carmello.

"Everyone, every Knick fan I know and its at least 30 loves the move. People are realistic and know its not a this year move. Its the next 5-9 years after this move. The other guys are just players. Melo is a star."

Your quote from 2-22-2011 on the Knicks move that most of the posters agreed that the Knicks gave up far too much in the Melo trade.

You should run for office

Clevland also playing better. Its actually going to come down to them and Detroit for the 3rd best team in the East. Not that it matters at all come playoff time.
