Just google Prosser says he'll complement Walker

It was from a campaign news release from Prosser's campaign in 12/10, so look for that original. Prosser later tried to walk it back and deny it. Try this for some background

12/09/2010 http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/news/111603909.html

It was heavily discussed during the campaign, and was the basis for two anti-Prosser ads shown in Wisconsin. You seriously are unawares of it? Probably one of the main reasons Prosser lost - saying you promise to be a non-impartial activist judge for Walker and the GOP isn't flying with Democrats or union folks right now - let alone independents that think Supreme Court judges shouldn't promise to be political and "complement" the legislative and executive branches!

This election may not be finalized for years
Huh? It will be finalized in about a week, and Kloppenberg takes up her position on the State Supreme court in August, I think.

nebrady 04-07-2011 05:37 PM

Think again! Prosser leads!

Think before talking riot. Prosser now leads but frankly this will go to a recount! Thankfully election is over can answer phone without having to hear political crap. Lol:)

Antitrust32 04-07-2011 06:01 PM

Riot... Prosser is leading in votes.

Prosser gets HUGE vote find in Waukesha Country

Prosser and Kloppenberg have been going back and forth all afternoon, guys, with 50 here and 100 there.

However: breaking late this afternoon, being reported late today on NPR that there is a 14,000 vote discrepancy between what the AP reported and what the canvassers found today in, of all places, Waukesha County: 11,000 more for Prosser, 3,000 more for Kloppenburg. That would put Prosser 8,000 ahead at this point.

One doesn't have to "think", nebrady, you just have to keep up with the changing vote counts as it went through the afternoon - they traded off several times.

If the "find" of 14,000 previously uncounted votes (!) in Waukesha is true, that would definitively put Prosser up, out of recount range.

The head of the DNC for waukesha county was at the press conference and stated that they are true

Also there are numerous claims of voter fraud, which continues to be a problem since we do not require photo ID in WI.

As for your article on prosser from Dec. You might want to actually read it and use your own brain before you make statements like you did about prosser.

I can't see there's fraud, I think she just screwed up royally using an old computer. The vote totals will continue to change back and forth, but forgetting an entire town probably won't happen again tomorrow.

Photo ID doesn't have much to do with preventing voter fraud. Please look up the history of convicted "voter fraud" in this country. Alot less than some people imagine it to be, in their quest to try and disinfranchise blocks of voters that tend to vote Democratic by changing voting rules to suddenly require a photo ID (or say college students can't vote at school, etc)

What imaginary world is your brain in? Read not only the article - which makes the same statement I did - but what the original press release said (link in the article) - which makes the same statement, what Prosser himself has said about it (same thing), even when he started trying to walk it back within the past month! That statement has been out there for three months now. I can't believe you plead ignorance of it's existence, and say the entire world is misunderstanding it - it was a major election concern, it was publicized everywhere, and was in two ads. Prosser admitted he said it trying to walk it back!

Face it, the good judge has come right out and said he's an activist judge for the Republican Senate/Assembly and Walker. There is no way he will be able to sit on the union-busting bill when it gets to the Supremes.

The people of WI have spoken. Case closed other than makiing sure the Waukesha County thing was an innocent mistake and not atempted fraud.

You need a photo ID to buy cough syrup for crying out loud. If you are not intelligent enough or take the time to get a photo ID you shouldn't be voting.

Really? Since when did intelligence and financial status become a "voting test" in this country? I know there is a Tea Party jackass that wants only property owners to be able to vote. Nice bunch trying to destroy this country with their hypocritical cries of "freedom".

Sorry - this newest Republican governor-Koch brother attempt to disinfranchise Democratic-leaning voters isn't going to work with the people of this country that respect the Constitution - all of it, not just the parts they like. "Voter fraud" is a straw man. A fake. An excuse to disinfranchise voters unconstitutionally. Like all the crap about Acorn during 2008 was trumped up and faked.

I just hope you are consistent with poll interpretations, as in the Presidential election. Koch's made their money providing jobs and tax $$$$$$$$. Government takes... PERIOD!!!!!!

Wisconsin election results now on hold

Wisconsin sure is rivaling Illinois with spending time in court ...

Wisconsin court race won't be certified without vote probe
(2011-04-08
(Reuters) - By James B. Kelleher

CHICAGO (Reuters) - The agency overseeing Wisconsin elections will not certify results of Tuesday's state Supreme Court race until it concludes a probe into how a county clerk misplaced and then found some 14,000 votes that upended the contest.

Michael Haas, Government Accountability Board staff attorney, told Reuters on Friday the watchdog agency was looking into vote tabulation errors in Republican-leaning Waukesha County which gave the conservative incumbent a net gain of more than 7,000 votes -- a lead his union-backed challenger seems unlikely to surmount.

"We're going to do a review of the procedures and the records in Waukesha before we certify the statewide results," Haas said.

"It's not that we necessarily expect to find anything criminal. But we want to make sure the public has confidence in the results,"

Unofficial returns in the statewide race had given the challenger, JoAnne Kloppenburg, a narrow 204 vote statewide lead over David Prosser, a former Republican legislator.

But late Thursday, the top vote counter in Waukesha County, said votes she had failed to report in earlier totals resulted in a net gain of 7,582 votes for Prosser in the county

More at http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/wk...out.vote.probe.
If only it hadn't taken 2 days to come up with the uncounted votes.

If only that voting irregularity wasn't announced on conservative blogs before the press conference was held to inform the public.

If only the Waukesha clerk hadn't worked for Prosser and been a Republican activist in the past.

If only you didn't have to hit "save" in Microsoft Access as the clerk alleged was the cause of the problem (there's autosave)

If only the number of "forgot to count them" votes didn't just exactly and magically put Prosser over the state-funded recount win margin.

If only the Waukesha clerk hadn't already in the past had a history of felony political involvement, having received immunity in exchange for testifying, in a previous lawsuit resulting in prison terms for everyone else involved.

I'm sure some are saying, if only it was a Democrat that did the above!

On the positive side, due to Wisconsin election laws, there should be a paper trail, so the Waukesha vote count should be easily verifiable.

Wisconsin politics is fun!

If you like overtly political, activist judges who use profanity and threaten their boss.

Good luck with that choice.

Well, no, there has long been a thread on Libya (and probably even Lybia) and you might read it, if you want to learn my opinion.
