Analyzing ability and talent is a large part of handicapping, and that is what comparing War Pass and Big Brown is all about. How is it not? What about the Derby future wagers?

Did you bet the race?

Hasn't Boundary tossed a bunch of Sprinter type (grass) sorts that have been very good early and then fizzled out.. The colt has a handled the dirt well enough but I have more then a shadow of doubt that he just might be best between 7 and 8f's.. He hasn't taken a bad step but I remain a bit cautious.

He hasn't had much at all, to be honest. Think Minardi might be his best.

This is hysterical...haha! :D

This is the best.

I was waiting for my vehicle to get repaired, so I thought I'd open up the Big Brown Book. Much to my delight, what started out as a normal thread got boosted in the middle by the re-appearance of PG1985 (9 for 9) and the cherry on top is the late entry of the narcissistic ramblings of KRIM.

Thank you, thank you one and all, for livening up what was otherwise a very dreary day for me.

DOes this sound like a horse that...What the heck did Kentucky say? He runs on his own?

You guys are talking about TWO DIFFERENT HORSES. The top is referencing GIANT MOON, not BIG BROWN.

Easy Goer, wouldn't you take the time to know that? C'mon, you're better than that.

LOL

I thought something was up when I saw Schoesburg as the quoted trainer. I figured I would let these two lovebirds go at it.

Sorry, I assumed that he was right, and that was Big Brown. That is my mistake.

Wasn't Pomeroy a Boundary?

King Glorious 03-06-2008 02:00 PM

I'll answer her question. It's not as much fun as giving her a hard time is but really, the question is not a hard one. She just asked simply who do you think will be a better horse, War Pass or Big Brown?

I go with War Pass. Really, it wasn't a ridiculous question as most are making it out to be.

Yeah, nice call... I should have known that. I liked that one a lot, probably his best US runner.

It's very possible this colt hits the frickin wall at a mile.. IMO more so then WP cant get 10f's..

Nothing wrong with an awesome miler Rosie...You maybe right about the horse and wrong about the course and distance...Maybe he is Lure 2?

Nah, he actually ACCELERATED after setting a pretty wicked pace going a mile and a sixteenth in his debut. I could certainly be wrong but he's finished with energy both times...
