Kipness good.

Sizeless bad.

So that's a wash....not enough guts to go through the whole team.

clyde 01-10-2012 03:51 PM

aahhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

clyde 01-10-2012 04:20 PM

hey!!

The Indians have signed Chris Seddon, 28 year old lefty with 250 minor league starts!!, to a minor league contract....AAAAAND have invited him to the Mother Team's spring training camp!!!!

Isn't that great!!??

horseofcourse 01-13-2012 06:54 AM

the Odyssey continues....a win across the Rockies!! 2-3 so far on the 7 gamer...not too bad for the youngsters on AT2. Kyrie now shooting 47 percent from field, 37 percent from 3 and 88 percent from the line his first 10 games. I'll take it. Only playing 9 games last year, he will hit a wall however. Kid has some ball skills. Watched some of the loss to Utah, man can he get to the hole and do some stuff. If we get a good big man in the next lottery, we'll have a small window to do stuff before they all leave!

clyde 01-13-2012 09:07 AM

"AT2"....I like it.

Does he drive the lane even better than John "Uh-oh. Now what do I do??" Bagley?

oh my God...good ol Bags!!

The funniest thing was in the draft we got Bagley, we drafted a guy named Magley in the 2nd round. You can't make any of Cleveland sports up. It's too good as it is. The Bagley/Magley combo just never caught up to Kareem/Magic or Bird/McHale

Man I don't recall that Magley guy.All I remember is Bagley was a fat point guard who would try to take it to the hole and then get all confused about whether he should finish or pass...and then it would become too late to do anything.

I think the '82 draft was the last vestiges of the Stepien era. I remember being in high school at the time and me and my friends rolling in laughter at this draft certain that these players were picked because Stepien simply was overwhelmed at the thought of the play by play man screaming "Bagley to Magley!" It was so bad Joe Tait went to do New Jersey Nets games for a couple years...not sure if Stepien fired him for criticizing him or if he just left. It was beyond hilarious the team back then. magley had a 14 game NBA career.

horseofcourse 01-14-2012 12:27 AM

Oh well...cut a 18 point half time deficit to 3 half way through the 4th against the lakers, couldn't sustain it though. Poor shooting night too and still fought to the death. 97-92. Screw Kobe. I like out K.

clyde 01-14-2012 12:08 PM

He has a permanent pinch face.

It's hilarious, Mike Brown is coaching and it's the old Cavs. Give the ball to Kobe, stand around and watch him and then try to play good defense. It may work better there as his current superstar has a few more guts than his last one. I'll try to keep it under control, but Kyrie Irving is really, really good. I think Byron Scott is very thankful he's got this kid to work with rather than the last teenage number 1 overall pick they had!! :)

clyde 01-14-2012 01:06 PM

This is good to hear, really. I didn't like him in the draft, but from what you say I guess he does have it so let's hope so.

Regarding Brown.

What a boob.

Did you know he said, regarding Baby Kobey.....' I am thankful that he allows me to coach him.'

Does that ring any bells??

horseofcourse 01-14-2012 01:24 PM

I find it sad that already with just one player the Cavs are already more entertaining than the Browns. 13 flipping years they've been back and not one entertaining player amongst all of them. I honestly don't get it. By entertaining, I mean "good".

clyde 01-14-2012 01:46 PM

I am sorry sir.

But if you take no redemption in the play of Gregg "Oh I got...oh!!...yes!!..aw phooey" Little, then I haven't the time for you.

no,no,no,no,no

:D

Goodness, are there enough bad teams in the NBA that we aren't gonna get in the lottery? another road game, another win!! We come back from our 7 game road odyssey with a 6-6 overall record. Kyrie is becoming a force of nature. 25 points, 7 assists, 4 boards.

horseofcourse 01-16-2012 03:34 PM

as you know, we now can just call him America's point guard.

clyde 01-16-2012 03:55 PM

ror!!

yes!!!!

horseofcourse 01-17-2012 09:18 AM

Golden State tonight? We actually match up with all these bad teams in the league this year. A week from today America's Point Guard takes his talents to south beach. That will be fun.

This team looks like they can get into the playoffs. Kyrie is only going to get better and Scott is a good coach. They got it going in the right direction.

They arent going anywhere. They had a very favorable schedule to start the season. 0-5 against teams .500 or better. There is a real possibility they lose 10 out of the next 11.
