Dont know if anyone read this or cares, but watch for this horse this year. He will be a very very nice. He did win today, he probably needed the race, he will be razor sharp next out.

We nominated him to the Swale last year and he had some issues. He will be a graded stakes winner, keep your eyes opened for him. You wont get a price like that on him again though

Big Flashy Chestnut, and all racehorse. He would have won the Swale last year, no question in my mind. I will put him on being a stakes horse with in the next couple months. His dam was a runner too, he really has a pretty solid pedigree to go with the good looks and attitude.

Bid,
Did you pick him up at the sales,or private ? Either way I like what I saw.

Hes a homebred, but a very nice horse. I tried to buy him privately from Ramsey before he ever ran but he wouldnt sell. Woodard trained him prior to Shuman. Woodard cheated with the horse in Tampa because the Catienus horses are so common. They almost all look the same, act the same, and move the same, however this one was different. I saw him breeze a few times at CHD in company and have loved him since before he ever ran a race. He was never outworked at CHD with older, or Tampa. Infact, to be honest there has never been a horse in front of him anywhere, not in a race, not in a breeze. If hes in company hes on the lead and you wont get him.

Well,
I must admit you have used good judgement on this one.Its hard to find a horse with that type of manner at a young age that doesnt like to be headed.Just hope he can carry that further in the future.

Someday I will create a list of horses I have been on prior to them running, the amount of money they wanted for the horses, and what the horses went on and did. I would make that list now but I dont feel like throwing up. Talent Search doesnt even scratch the surface in regards to the kinds of horses I have bypassed because of uptight owners.

The horses official beyer was 92. This horse will make Catienus look very good in the near future.

Hes entered tonight at Mountaineer. I would look for him to gallop again. Hes 3-1 on the board, this is a very serious animal

Bid- Do you think this horse can hold off Fabulous Strike? It looks like these two could get into a serious speed duel. . . I'm off to the OTB now to get the PPs so I can check the speed figures. . .

I know he can, he will grind that horse into the ground.

Wow, that was a hell of a race that Fabulous Strike ran. Any guesses as to what the Beyer was? Halfway through the turn I thought TS was making a move but Fabulous Strike repelled it pretty easily. Tough break to run into a monster like that.

I hated watching it. Talent Search regressed, and Strike ran the biggest race of his life. Oh well, I still love the horse, hell be fine with a little more seasoning.
