Real Quiet
02-05-2018, 03:33 PM
Two players collected points at Gulfstream on Saturday and four winning wagers were recorded.
NJ Stinks hit a small exacta but couldn't show a profit and both Cruzan and Ruffian made a run
with 17-1 Musical Heart but fell 3/4 of a length short in the 7th. The rest were derailed in one way
or the other. There is a saying, "Turnabout is Fair Play" and this week at Gulfstream Plenilune
turned the tables on Real Quiet. Last week we finished 0ne / Two and this week the finish was the
same but reversed. RQ hit an exacta in race 10 but when Speed Franco edged Gidu in race 11
the day belonged to Plenilune. Plen swept her two $50 wagers in races 3 and 7 to collect $490
on the afternoon and won convincingly. Congrats to Plenilune on the win. Nicely played. Following
are the unofficial results pending any inquiry. Next week I am leaning toward Tampa Bay with the
Sam Davis Derby prep but both Santa Anita and Delta Downs have good cards although the
DED races are state breds. Comments are welcome and I'll post a venue choice as soon as
some entries come out. See you in the gate.
