Ruffian and I have caucused and have agreed that our venue for this Saturday should take us to beautiful Belmont Park for Empire Showcase Day, a group of stakes races for New York breds that includes the Empire Classic Stakes, Empire Distaff Stakes, Hudson Stakes, Iroquois Stakes, Maid of the Mist Stakes, Mohawk Stakes, Sleepy Hollow Stakes, and Ticonderoga Stakes.
We are not going to play the full 11 race card. Our contest card will start with Race 2 and end with Race 10. Post time for Race 2 will be at 12:55 PM Eastern time.
