There are 41 weeks in our 2017 season and it's time to bore you with a few stats as we approach the Breeders Cup. There are less than 10 weeks to the Cup finale and four players are up over $388 on the year. Due to circumstances El Prado will probably not have enough weeks in the gate to qualify for the best 2017 ROI and Roamin will be hard pressed to get to the minimum level. Both have been on fire when they play. In addition to the other two players who are in the black, 3 other players have a solid shot to make some virtual cash in 2017. Those 5 players range from plus $661 to minus $261 which is only one or two good weeks. NJ Stinks has been seen in the winners circle 6 times this year and Joly B has had his photo taken 5 times. Ruffian, Indian Hemp, Real Quiet and Don Guido have chipped in 4 wins each. Everyone who has played this year has at least one win except for Swedejxn who is 0-5. On the season as a group we are down 8%. Considering the absolute minimum takeout is over 14% with exotics around 25%, an 8% loss as a group over 40 weeks ain't too shabby. At the moment these are the top 5 for 2017 who should qualify. #5 is Don Guido down $261. #4 is RYonker down $171. Indian Hemp is #3 down $110. Real Quiet is #2 up $388 on the year. Thus far in 2017 our ROI leader is up $661 and that player with a bullseye on his back is Cruzan with an ROI of 30%.

Now wait just one minute . . .with all the long shot cat-a-tonic wins that Ruffian has nailed she's not even in the top 5 or 6. I thought she'd be PLUS 4 or 500 by now. And it's like finding that perfect grain of sand on the beach to have my name in mentioned in your summary. That's just crazy.

Thanks RQ for a pre end of the year wrap up. You do excellent work . . . but you've been told that before, so no biggie, right?
