Funny but in the past two years we have only visited Del Mar once each year when it goes up
against Saratoga. Ruffian stated she was glad to leave Saratoga and she was rewarded with a
nice win on Saturday. FYI the one August card we played at Del Mar last year was won by none
other than the "Cat". Three winner were recorded with Plenilune getting a push when one of
her win bets payed $4. Real Quiet took the number two slot when Moonshine Memories took
the 7th but his last gasp attempt in the tenth failed. For those familiar with Ruffian, she was
"Burning From the Start", winging it out of the gate in Race 1 and coasted the rest of the way.
Congrats to the Big Cat on her Del Mar win. Following are the unofficial results pending any
