I can comment on atlantis. Small room has 4 tellers, who could care less about you. No self betting terminals. Seating for probably 40 comfortably more if you dont mind sitting on the floor. Comps wise is horrible you have to push a huge amount of money through to get anything.

open a phone acount and enjoy the day from a hotel bar. Casino Royal (attatched to the Marriott) isn't bad and the blackjack dealers can't add so saying "YES" after a hit for 22 and saying "STAY" sometmes gets you paid. That's a bigger comp than anything given in Vegas. Atlantis is WAY OVERPRICED and you are stranded on their own island. Avoid like the plague unless you enjoy Epcot Center.

dell i have to disagree that atlantis is way overpriced. For what you get its not a bad deal. You have access to their waterpark, their aquarium, and their pools. If you can gamble decently for 3 or 4 hours a day they''ll comp all of it. Is it still pricey, of course its a 5 star resort. And its not their island, its paradise island, There are several other hotels on the island. Atlantis is beautiful beyond that if your bring a female or family along, it keeps them out of your hair.

well guess I'm not a waterpark fan and prefer the Shedd Aquarium to theirs. I also like to enjoy the culture of a foreign country when I'm outside of the US and found none of that on paradise island. I felt like I was at Disney World. Kind of like going to Mexico and eating out at a Taco Bell (they do have em in Cancun) IMO much prefer and outside authentic mexican dining room in Puerta Vallarta. Just like I prefer a bahamian roadside jerk stand. Craziest experience in Vallarta was walking into a bar named Dillinger's (gangster theme) and showing my DL from Chicago. Many tequilla poppers that night.

Just found out the casino attatched to the Marriott has changed names and is now known as the Crystal Palace Casino.

Last i heard they were romodeling it. I don't know if the name change goes along with the completion of renovation or if its just a concidence. I never did hear the completion date on it. If someone finds out post it on here, im there 3 or 4 times a year, would like to go see it.
