Coast to coast on Saturday some players came home with some virtual cash. 3 players got points and 4 players cashed a ticket. Joly B gets third place via the daily double route with a $100
straight double which paid $2.20 for each deuce wagered. Second place goes to our awesome
point scorer Plenilune who had a double digit winner in race 10 and got to see her fantasy
horse Beholder win for fun. Congrats Plen. The winner of our coast to coast graded set of races
was Don Guido who trifected his way to victory with a $10 tri in race 5 and then held off all
challenges.Well Don Don. Lat week I missed scoring Cruzan's bets so this week I'm adding
him in even though he didn't show up. Old 20024678645398676342709876543 we surely
missed you at the call to post! Following are the unofficial results pending any objections.
See you all next week wherever Joly B ships us. Nice points win Joly.

Don't know if I ever saw a $2 DD that paid $2.20 before.

I have collected $3.60 on a $2 DD but a guy has to have standards! :D

You've got me there, NJ. As I noted elsewhere, the WIN price alone on the second leg of the DD paid more than the DD:zz: 'splain that one, please.

That's one of the many hazards of placing a wager without being able to watch the tote.

It is inexplicable, JolyB.

The DD I hit that paid $3.60 was at Delaware Park in 1979 I think. Spectacular Bid won the first half of the DD at around 1/9 and the second half of the DD only had 5 horses in it. Although I was wasn't jumping up and down with a $3.60 payoff, after seeing that payoff at Santa Anita last Saturday I guess should have been ecstatic 35 years ago! :D
