Real Quiet

Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby on Saturday proved to be a puzzle to most and it was a day
when a lot of minus $200 abounded. Only four players cashed a ticket and only two players made some
virtual cash. Swedejxn and El Prado had winners but couldn't get into the black. The "Oh the pain" award
of the day goes to Plenilune who had 4 $50 win bets and finished 2nd, 2nd, 2nd and 2nd. The number two
spot and the place points go to Digger who keeps going and going and going. Digger hit race 12 on a 12-1
horse who closed and got up in time. There is only one American Pharoah and only one Don and he is this
weeks Kentucky Derby ROI winner. His strategy of keeping it simple worked just fine as AP returned $7.80
for each $2.00 bet. Congrats Don on the win and for racking up them points. Following are the unofficial
results pending any errors. Scratches drove me crazy(er) this week so check your totals. Off to Belmont
next week so we'll see you there.

Can I get the "Major Bummer" Award for
SKY CAPTAIN = I had Win / Pl $$ on him

First, he misses the wire by a nostril hair
So ok maybe he pays enough for 2nd & not a total loss

Joy lasted a few minutes till they announced he was a DQ for veering out!
:(  = Zero :$:

"The "Oh the pain" award of the day goes to Plenilune who had 4 $50 win bets and finished 2nd, 2nd, 2nd and 2nd." Boy, you got that right. I was telling a friend if I have to lose I'd rather have my pick run 5th or 6th but to lose by a nose, neck, or whatever, that was pretty frustrating.

Congrats Don! PM me with your address so I can send your KY Derby glass!

I spotted that first timer in R 13 with excellent works. He at least got second. Just couldn't get there. That would have been a score.
I know. Shoulda, coulda, woulda.
Congrats, Don. KISS. :D
