Here are a few thoughts (these picks assume fast track and turf).
Race 1 - #7 Victory Walk 6-1. Needed last. Top jock stays. Early lick in racing lacking speed. Wire to wire.
Race 2 - #9 Unplugged (5-1). Huge drop down. Competitive last couple turf races vs much better. Mows them down late.
Race 4 - #6 Wall Street (6-1) - Thought this one was going to be a Pletcher monster at the gulf last year for Pletcher. Did not pan out. Top CRC conditioner takes over. Lone 4 year old vs younger. 1st turf.
Race 6 - Who knows in here, but #7 Coyote Trust is 20-1 in the M/L. This one never takes money but typically outruns his odds. He has beat 8 out of 12 and 10 out of 12 (and was lengths clear of the 3rd place finisher) at huge odds the last 2x vs this kind. Bombs away in gimmicks if you can figure what hits with this one.
Race 7 - #5 La Celeste (3-1). Not a fan of chalk, but biggest drop in the game and showed speed vs better.
Race 8 - #1 Bayou's Lassie (7-2). Last race was huge for 1st turf. Did it effortlessly. Repeats with similar effort.
Race 9 - #3 Post Invader (6-1) - Back from Toga. Huge drop. Beat some good locals before heading north.
Race 10-#9 Elizabul (6-1) - Turned the corner in last beating a decent allowance field. Top connections.
Race 11 -#2 Green Vegas (6-1) - Horses that ran 1-2 in front of him last time would both be 3-5 in this spot. Hate the fave in this one who will be breaking from far outside.
