The single most painful betting loss of my career, and I was there.

Anyone remember that old show "Winner's Circle" that was hosted by Tom Hammonds and they'd recap all of the stakes action from the week? That's where I first saw Lost Code and he was winning seemingly every minor Derby that was run after Kentucky. I couldn't wait until he got his chance to face the big boys and he didn't disappoint. He ran huge in the Haskell and again in the Pimlico Special and Oaklawn Handicap the next year. Very underrated and under appreciated horse. One of my all-time favorites.

A great reminder why Mccarron is the most overrated jockey ever.

I remember sitting in the lawn area in upper stretch and thought that Lost Code (who I bet) might have held on....Great Race.......

A great reminder why Mccarron is the most overrated jockey ever.....really, he did have a couple head scratchers with alysheba but for the most part, with $$ on the line he was as good as there was.
