As much as I think Lucky is going to pull a Tiznow, I'm going all in on Gio Ponti.

Besides her going in the mile- I wouldn't bet $25G on any 3/5 shot.... No?

Is the question if you were betting 25k on a horse in the Classic who would it be?
I'd bet Fly Down or Blame.

Yeah. Just saw this contest that they're running at Churchill.

Blame.
And $25k wouldn't put a dent in the odds on a horse in the Classic, considering Blame at around 4/1 will have about a million on his nose...

What??? That guy was so cool. I didn't have Super Saver at all. I thought his picking the winner was better than the derby itself.

LOL, I had the tri too. Thought it was pretty square, considering Super Saver was the 2nd choice in the end.
BTW It hurt the payoff on the win bet by about .3 points according to Crist http://www.drf.com/blogs/sixty-cents

I thought his hair was even better than him picking the winner of the derby which was better than the derby itself.

I think Blame will be favored. 2-1.

Impossible...But he does seem to be getting the wise guy moniker which should give everyone pause.

This line of thinking does give a "bridge jumper alert", especially in the show pool.
I'm inclined to agree with the Thursday caller to Steve's show that if Zenyatta doesn't win, she falls out of the money.
Of course she very well could win. I just don't see her finishing second or third if she has to contest a hot pace in the stretch.

I doubt they'll be bridgejumping on her.
I also don't agree with the notion that she won't hit the board if she doesn't win. With her running style and the distance, why can't she clunk up for third when nobody else is running?
If it weren't for the extreme hype and everything else, she'd be the type of horse you'd try to key underneath at a price.

Agree with both your points.
