By the way, I appreciate Ashley posting the couple I liked at Murwillumbah but I said I was taking a flyer on the one in the second and LOVED the 5 in Race 4A.

He was my single in the Pick Four and he just couldn't loose!! He got beat by a horse that won a Class 2 by six lenghts geared down at the wire last Thursday night who Paid 78.00,67.00, and 27.00 who I was lucky enough to catch. When I saw this horse in Sat night I couldn't believe it, only getting beat a lenght in a class 1 and coming back in a Class 1 and I got to see what the winner did to that Class 2 field Thursday. May have been one of the best Aussie bets in the last year.

I was out at a bar and had to go out into the parking lot to hear the call live from these Guys at Australian Racing over the phone, went back in with a big smile and I'm glad a couple of you got down on him at $9.00+

This is without a doubt a gambling problem thread. C'mon. On the 7th day, he took a rest? Off days are ok.

LOL.....Not when ya love the game...

We race 7 nights a week why not bet 7 nights a week. I wish you could see my Brisbet account for last year. I probably had a bet on 340 days out of 365.

Yeah, I may have a problem but I also had a slight winnig year betting that many days last season. First one in a few years. I get your point though.

Good Luck

I DO Love the game!! It is the greatest game on earth hands down!

I'm not passing judgment guys, I usually have something going each night, but not in another country and not usually horse racing. Much more selective when it comes to racing.

haha, old rick loves to fire at them...

I can't keep up for sure

Longshotrick

Love the cards tonight Ash, except for the two steeple races at the Bool, 8 maiden really bad amiden races to start the night off. We should make a killing, should be prices everywhere!!!!

Rick

Scurlogue Champ
06-05-2006, 06:09 PM
I would probably fire all my load at the steeple races just for the action.

"this one can't come any other way than 8-5, Rick. I don't care if they are jumping buildings."

Longshotrick
06-05-2006, 06:27 PM
Race 2A, The 5 Nearartic Crossing should run right off the screen in this race!
Got beat only two lenghts to Drac's Back in October at Ararat!!! Drac's Back is one of the best 3yo milers in the country now. Needed that first race off an extended break, should KILL these at 7-1 ML.

The only other horse to use in the exotics is #9 Agavero.

Stand at the windows and wait for them to pay you.

Personally, I think this is the greatest nightly entertainment going on anywhere on a racing-related site... Intercontinental Australasia Action... That's it.. You guys are the "IAA"...

And you'll be tickled when you see who Derby Trail's likely principal sponsor is and where they're from.. Here's a clue: Addington.

www.aapracingandsports.com.au/usa

or free at oursite www.australianracing.com

or the best PP's are free at Brisbet.com if you have an account there, speed figures and Jockey Trainer stats as well.

That is awesome! Too bad I'm an XM subscriber, can I catch it online?

You guys should check out the preview show on Friday night on our simulcast feed. I will probably do a live show here about 20 mins to the first post on Friday night. I'll give the DerbyTrail some props and maybe we can pick up a few more degrenerates.

Longshotrick
06-05-2006, 08:45 PM
Really don't think he can loose, I'm willing to go the whole bank roll early tonight. If he looses I'm out for the rest of the night.

I'm thinking the only way he gets beat is by 2 or 9 , those will be my exacta savers.

Don't know much about either but it looks like they went from a 8 % winning Apprentice to a 10% winning apprentice. I guess that is an improvement?

I'm watching at home Rick. I hope this 5 comes rolling.

Looks like they are sneaking him into the Bool for him to pop the cherry.

Only talked with Samm, but what a nice lady she is.

Great catch on the 5 being trained by Paul Perry, that is why I liked the 3 in the first place. I do think 10 will be in the mix though, Leading rider in the country tracks, Geg Ryan, decent BT and rides for a trainer based at Muswellbrook. Best of luck to you here.

I like 2,3,7.

But that 8 looks like it sure isn't without a chance Toga.

The 2 got beaten badly by a good horse in Backdraft last out.

One back he ran 5th as the favourite in what looks to be a nicely ran race.

The 7 is coming out of that Psychological race, I think it will hold up in form.

Scurlogue Champ
06-05-2006, 09:38 PM
Look for that Psychological race over on the A side I think. It seems like I saw it on the card again tonight somewhere....

Maybe not. I'll look

2B-#9 is coming out of the same race as the 7 in 1B.

It ran even better than the 7. Watch the odds on 9 and lets see what happens. It looks like that race will churn out good ones behind Psychological and Sharp Mind.

Scurlogue Champ
06-05-2006, 10:22 PM
I like 5,7 all day long in 4A.

That distance cutback plus the weight break for the 7 is the key for me. Speed/fade in the last at 8.5. 6.5 furlong distance looks like he might take up the running and win it for me.

I like the 5's Barrier Trial for the minors

Rick, Great call I watched it. Noticed the time of your post about 9 min befor post 2 min after I logged off..Damnit Rick After I logged off I figured what the hell Used the 2,8,14.....would of been 2,14,15. That horse came flying down the oustside.

Longshotrick
06-06-2006, 05:17 PM
I was hoping you saw that today. I got me back to about even for the night so I'm happy for that. I had the quinells instead of the exacta and I made a wrong call there but I bet him to win.

I saw that it was an open mount earlier in the night and they announce Alan Robinson aboard and I went nuts, he wins 3-4 races a day in the country.

Wish you had the Exacta!!

Togacapper
06-06-2006, 05:30 PM
Good for you getting about even. The QU wasn' that bad though 46 wasn't it?

Longshotrick
06-06-2006, 05:47 PM
Actually 42$, I played it as my place wager saver instead of betting to place. The whole time I bet it I knew I should have gotten an exacta box but I could buy for more multiple times this way and not have to bet place as well.

If you play us long enough you'll start to notice the quinella pays more than the exactas ALOT. Routinely we'll get a 65$ Quinella and a 43$# exacta. I know that happens everywher and the Q is a good value overall most cases but we pay even larger than most, this time I wasn't that lucky that exacta was a healty $130.

I hit two quinella pools last year when I was the only ticket, one time I had a 9/2 shot that I played with all and a 17-1 came in with him, not that crazy, and I was the only ticket in North America, got back 1,900.00

That happens alot during week nights at a quarter till 2 am and only 40 people are playing us on their computers around the country, a lot of crazy payouts.

Say what you want about our product but there is PLENTY of money to be made here just betting nickels and dimes because 85% of the money is dumb money. People have no clue about us and are just dumping money in.
Just the opposite is true when Saratoga and Del Mar roll around I've got to beat guys like you that may be making a living at it. Don'y get me wrong I love that racing and bet it but have no allusions to really making a profit.

If you hang around long enough you'll start to see that we are printing money here 7 days a week and the best part is nobody knows about it.

I won't be betting tonight because it is a Tuesday Night, The best night of racing and quite simply, I never win on Tuesday and Friday nights so I just gave up, but I'll be firing tomorrow and Thursday for sure.

Good Luck with all you wagers today and Tonight!

Rick

I was going to throw that in at the end of my last post but I didn't have that much confidence , just had a hunch shipped in from Mountaineer and was working like a beast but threw in a cluncker when they ran him short on the dirt, he had been running on the grass at MRN, so I figured they were aiming for this and Pompel stayed aboard ...... Yes!! It's great to be right every now and then.

Togacapper

Ohhh no I don't play like that Rick either.I wish I was good enough to make living @ this. I play most of my money through in the 6 weeks here in Saratoga. Like to play Aus during the weekend and occasionally during the week just becuase I love the racing there . My friend Skippaway likes to fire pretty hard. It's nice to listen others peoples opinion while playing Aus. Makes it more interesting and definitley has made me look @ things different playing there. But over all I play because I love the game and the competition and excitment it brings....Also the good times.

Longshotrick

I could never make a living either because mainly.... I bet every race and bet the same when I LOVE something as when I barely have an opinion. Two major mistakes.

It is nice to bet all year long and at least be up a thousand or so. It's like getting paid to do your favorite hobby, that's the way I look at it.

I may make Saratoga this season, my best friends father is the Racing Commissioner in New Jersey and they have a box, I've been meaning to go for the past 3 seasons.
