As I was driving home after the Belmont from my local OTB I was reflecting about this year’s crop of three year olds. I thought, are they really all that bad? It seems that so many years we hear the same thing, “bad crop of three year olds”.

As I drove down my long drive way I looked to the right to admire my three horses waiting by the gate for me to feed them. Then it hit me. I wouldn’t mind owning any one of the three year olds from this year's crop that won any of the graded races. Off I went to feed my horses who earn nothing.;)

I think the lowest before was Prairie Bayou's 98 in the Preakness, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
