Speed of the speed. Especially coming from Cali turf.

Speed of the speed.
Notoriously valuable angle for 12-furlong turf races.

The way KEE turf has been playing? Possibly.

I'm keeping an eye on Pick Six. I have a feeling he's ready for a big run.

He ran the fastest last out fig, I doubt that will be lost on the bettors but maybe...it is a large field.

I think your way way off on this race. I dont think he is the speed of the speed, but good luck.
I would almost be willing to bet he does not even make the early lead.
Ok.

The Keeneland turf has been playing to speed? There hasn't been a wire to wire winner in a week and only two races between last weekend and yesterday went to a horse that was 1st or 2nd at the pace call.

I might bet Sudden War, but I don't see the "speed-of-the-speed" thing either.

Wire to wire and playing to speed are two different things. For the totality of the meet I would say it has been much kinder to front running horses than closers.

Timeless fashion may be sent but his race on the KEE turf at 12 furlongs was forwardly placed but hardly winging it....I like Sudden War's pattern and price.

Thanks for the distinction. I think it's been a fair course.

Price? He is the third choice ML, with Mcpeek and coming out of 2 Cali graded stakes I could see him being the chalk.... I dont get the price appeal either. I dont get this horse at all, what was his excuse 2 back when he got away with 49.4-1.15-2.05.2 and was basicley destroyed late?
When someone likes a horse why do you think that person is trying to convince you? I don't give a **** who you like or dislike. In a 12 horse field there are plenty of places to bet. Find one.

I dont, but you have given 3 reassons for liking this horse and 2 of them are just stupid, and false..... Speed and price appeal? He wont be on the lead and you will be lucky to get 5-1.
I didn't realize 6-1 was a terrible price if you like a horse....and if 12 horses go he will be that or higher I would think. If he's 3-1 I surely like him less. We'll see.

FWIW, in the last 32 races run at 1.5 miles on the Keeneland turf, one horse has wired the field. During that same span, 7 horses that led the race for 1.25 miles or entering the stretch finished second.

Most likely Sudden War will end up being the favorite. I take my chances with Expansion.

just a trainer change. the west's cut ties with mclaughlin and chad brown got some of the horses.

Not a private purchase. . . They have a lot of horses w/ Brown - not sure if they have any more w/ KMc.

Still waiting for an answer.
MCK had over 100 horses, and was making room for more of the shieks flesh. West didn't sever ties, this was MCK's decision.

Nice run by the other Musket man and good ole Brass Hat always gives his all. The 2 went, but the 3 had nothing anyway. Quite an early move by Pick 6 in there.

Pick Six is the definition of a hanger. I'm done with that rat.
You could argue that Musketier probably should have gone favored in there (or close to it) yet gets sent off at 7-1... which again shows the value of >=12 horse fields.
