One MILLION dollars!

More than enough coin for the newest Phipps soon to be star turned failure Gone Astray.

There isn't any $9.99 post race buffet at Charles Town. That deal is $24.99 and is straight prime rib.

The late night breakfast buffet on Sat is $9.99. It's all the bacon you can eat.

DrugS might bring a contingent of homeless men.

It's the middle of the Triple Crown season and both DrugS and PG are going on sabbatical? The humanity!!

Im confused... I was going to take a break, I even PM'd Steve and asked him to block/ban me from posting, but then I changed my mind. So I am here, as for Drugs, me being his manager any questions you have for him I can take care of.

This is pitiful on many levels.

DrugS might bring a contingent of homeless young Asian boys.

Researcher is sure tough to beat at CT. M/L of 9-2 seems a bit generous.

He really is awesome at CT. 7/2 in retrospect was a gift. I tried to get cute in the P4 when it really was pretty chalky and got 1/2 on my money.

He ran well again for the repeat. I hit the P4 for 50cent, but i will take it.

Our table was right by Stephanie Beattie's. What a loudmouth. Totally low class. Cole was up there too. Nice guy although he seemed to be on the train if you know what i mean. Maybe he was just excited about his horse winning that stake. Gave out a nice winner at Penn though.

Everyone was getting down on the Paul Pompa/Pletcher horse. I am not redboarding when I say that I totally tossed that horse. He has 5 wins in 15 starts and 4 were at the Big A inner. I don't need to be a tenth as good a mathetician as Philcski or Dunbar to know that horse is a one course pony. What I didnt toss were the 1 and 2. I think if the 6 would have somehow won, he would have come down because he wasn't clear going into the 1st turn and he totally killed the chances of the 1 and 2. Awesome Gem ran lights out and I didnt think he could make it considering the way the track was playing and his running style. I still think the 1 horse (hushion trains) is nice and I will play him back later on.

It would have been interesting if Rachel were in this race.

Ignoring the obvious editorial errors, this is a really interesting article.

Yeah....Researcher wasn't impressive at all the other night. Time for a career change. These new owners should take the 600k and purchase a clue. Bunch of idiots.

Well, it's a steeplechase outfit, and the horse is, what, six now? I can understand why they'd be looking to try him over fences at some point. He is a gelding, after all, and if you ever go to the races anywhere in the states of VA or MD these days, it seems that half the fields are owned by Kinross.

Personally, I think it's a great move.

Researchers pedigree is loaded with stamina.

The sire, Two Smart, is by the great stamina influence Two Punch.

The dam, Wild Magnolia, is out of the great stamina sire Apalachee.

Her dam is by Red Ryder, a full brother to Mr. Prospector. Red Ryder was best known for siring pretty cheap speed types before he was exported.

Makes total sense.
