Why is Felipe Valdez named to ride Tuscan Evening in the Kilroe? My guess is she will be a likely scratch

Who are the nice horses? I just looked and I think that group is pathetic.

Can the "BIG CAP" be moved to the inner if Cal gets a little rain? What's the big deal Hedge Fund will be ready to fire?

So which day is the Sham supposed to be?

Anyways, despite the course specialists (Mr. Gruff was particularly potent last season), I wonder if Sangaree, a half brother to Congaree out of the fleet-footed Mari's Sheba, has a shot to make a late burst cutting back in that down-the-hill race.

They carded it on Sunday as a "10th" race in case the card gets cancelled on Saturday.. (it's supposed to rain Friday night/Sat morning)

I just read where Mitchell said that Ever A Friend was the best horse he has ever trained.

He's mistaken (he's getting old.) Speightstown ran huge to beat Kela in the 2004 B.C. Sprint. I'm sure that hurt. He may have tried a little too hard to forget about it.

Juddmonte almost won this race with females two years in a row.

Last year the heavy favorite Ventura (under 117lbs) lost by a nose to Gio Ponti (under 117lbs)

I bet Gio Ponti last year, If I recall Ventura was around 3-5 and Gio was around 3-1. That was as close as it gets, great race back to back years.

I think Pool Play has a shot at a huge price. I'm using him with Loup Breton, Neko Bay, St Trinians and Misremembered

The winner TOOK A TON OF LATE MONEY, I had it on Cal racing, I paused it to go to TV, he was 5-1 as they were loading in the gate, otb has him winning at 4-1.

Same with the filly who ran 2nd in the Oaks. She went from 9-1 to 6-1 on the backstretch.
