Another glorious afternoon at the Spa Wednesday as the second half of the meet kicked off with a quality card, good crowd and fun all around...

It was a particularly wild day at the ol' Cue... My man Sciacca and "Fun Bobby" (Frankel) ate lunch together with us early and won later... Chuck Simon stopped by to bemoan his travails at the meet, and Dr. Steve Allday and Bob Fox (ATRAB regulars) both hung for the late races.

An OK day on the 'capping front as well, though the big scores were elusive. Rocky Blue ($14.80 to win) proved to be a great saver bet as suggested, and if you were smarter than me and keyed him with our other selections, you'd have brought home a $727 trifecta when our other selections ran 2-3-4-5.

Top choices Tre' Bon Pro ($6.30 in the 2nd) and Bold Love ($6.50, 5th) came through, while the 1-2 tabs in the 7th (One Good Man/Prince Raffie) scored in reverse order ($24.50 exacta)... The ATRAB races of the day were a mixed bag as the chalky trifecta was available in the MTH 8th, but the SAR late double was "wide left"...

A $70,000+ carryover is available for Thursday, but the card is ridiculous with one maiden race after another making successful negotiation unlikely... But we'll try anyway...

Hope you're doing well...
