How about the clowns saying that it was a tough call and she shouldnt come down? Not to mention Moss quoting a rule that does not exist.

It was so clear that even Kent's explanation made sense.

6 G1 tries in her life and never won one before today.. She is not a G1 filly.
And I am fully aware of who Proviso beat last time out..

And those company lines on Proviso looked pretty good to me.

So you figure the fact that Goldikovalost to a few that bearlt beat her meant that the mighty Muskara or those other slugs would rein sumpreme?

BTW Group 1 in europe is WAY different then Grade 1 in the US.. You see they have real grass/poly horses there not frauds.

I had thought it was taking a while as well, but on the Keeneland race video, I noticed Rajiv Maragh getting off his horse to go talk to the stewards, seemingly, five minutes after the race was run. Not sure if it took them a while to come back, but that had to be part of it.

I have no idea why the stewards need to talk to the jockeys before making a DQ, outside of some extenuating circumstance of some sort.

I thought it was about 98% to come down ... but I'm certainly not a fan of DQ'ing horses ... especially when I believe it's very clear they would have won.
Hate to see situations like that ... as it's very doubtful Mushka was going by. Trouble in the stretch like that is significantly overrated... and the stretch run is where the overwhelming majority of DQ's occur.

I watched this on ESPN and from my stanpoint, albeit vigin compared to the decades on this board, etc................
Even if the jock is not responsible you gotta do the right thing and who is to say if Kent and his mount could not get by with a clear trip? That horse went RIGHT in a hurry.
