We might be there BT. It's either Vegas 3 days/Mammoth Mtn 3-4 days or Tahoe 7 days. Will let you know. H is pushing for the former so the woman may have the call here.

I love Mammoth, Lake Tahoe for me is hit or miss...the best snow is in Utah though....nothing beats Brighton :$: but gambling there of course is nothing....It would be hard to beat a Vegas/Mammoth trip!

Mammoth is my favorite too... Just so remote. Last year we did 4 days Squaw and 3 days Mammoth and stayed in Reno for all but two nights in Mammoth Lakes. Salt Lake areas are great but the town is so boring, and one of my best friends lives there so I can stay for free but I have ended up paying for them to come out to Cali with us the last few years. I bet you would have never guessed that H is a really good skier!

getting down to reservation time, and i'm kinda balking on where to stay.

I love the sportsbook and have a great comfort level around march madness time and they take really good care of their horse players during that time (ie; horse wagering / seating only lines for hotel guests) at bally's, but the rest of the casino is kinda blah.
Plus they gave me minimal player points/ rewards when it came time to check out, and i put a good chunk of change through their windows, whether it was at bally's, ceasars, paris, flamingo... i only played at Harrahs owned casinos the entire time out there and used my card for everything, and realized they were nice enough to give me a $53 in credits when it was time to check out.... thank you and f*ck you!
I really enjoyed Planet Hollywood last time out there, is a new place and it seems more upbeat and nicer place to stay/play. On the other hand their sportsbook looks like sh!t, way too small and compact, everything else, like clubs, food and accomodations look to be above the usual bally's standard.

also considering ANY other Harrahs branch casinos since i get a discount, so do i go for comfort or buck the trend and roll the dice?

It's about 80% that we are going now, probably 4 days in Vegas and 4 days in Mammoth. Most likely will stay at Mandalay Bay. Will let you know.

I might be going with a buddy of mine for Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Never been to Vegas before, so it'd be great if people could PM me some suggestions.

Vegas, bitches. Now that you're 21 you better get your ass out there. Bring money and your power ratings for Central Connecticut State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Cal State Northridge, and any other team you have an edge with.

I'll be there Thursday night the 19th-sometime on Monday the 23rd.
