Thank you, Steve.

However, you forgot Laragh.......As of a couple of days ago, her connections were still seriously considering the Juvy Turf fillies. Also, Rainbow View is definitely not making the trip.....

Thx Betsy.. All of these lists are compilations of notes and blurbs, etc., and are exceedingly rough.. As the pre-entries go in today, I wanted to get the format up here now ahead of time..

Oh, you're very welcome Steve. I really appreciate the time you took to do this for us........I have a lot of favorites running in the filly/mare races, so I may take half a day off from work.

Take a look at Oui say Oui's last. Absolute nightmare trip in a massive 24 filly field, bounced around and steadied multiple times midstretch. Performance was MUCH better than what is listed in the form. Very serious contender at what figures to be a square price (although IEAH buying her cuts that down a bit).

The filly she ran 2nd to two back, Again, would likely have been the favorite if she had come over.

Agree- would likely need multiple defections, however- no GS points.

Is that filly coupled with Laragh? IEAH owns her as well.......

Yeah, no coupled entries. My favorite was when Shake the Bank went off at 81-1 in '05. Who the hell was betting that horse?

I remember in '06 at CD looking at the infield tote board before the Turf, and Icy Atlantic (English Channels' rabbit) having almost 40k to WIN on him.
It's unreal how much dumb money is in the pools on these big days.

I'd have loved to have seen the clueless degenerate gambler touting the horse to everyone who will listen as the lone speed on the turf.

Saw that. Really liked her chances. Considering IEAH bought her most likely with this race in mind, something must have gone wrong this week...

Indeed. 8-1 is more like it. I would slam her at 15-1, and I am tying her up with Stardom Bound every which way regardless.

She's actually my top choice in the race. Ran a monster race in her 2nd start in the Alcibiades, first around two turns obviously, much better than it looks on paper. I wanted to know what he was thinking in there.

Sad but true. No way am I betting a deep closer at 8/5. CS Silk suddenly looks a lot better

I'll tell you this about her, whoever worked with her when young did a great job. She relaxes very well for a young horse and when asked, she goes. Her speed is natural, not run off type crap.....I was real impressed with her last time at AP.

My only concern is the work pattern, I don't like seeing a gap after a win like that, means, it smoked her. She is very competitive on the sheets.

The Juvy colts is way upside down if you ask me. Bittel Road, who will be favored, will be on none of my tickets.

I actually like CS Silk a little, but that whole race is throwing me off. I want to take a stand against Stardom Bound, but I really have no good alternatives. Although I think Evita Argentina is going to run well at a price.

I am a huge fan of her, not a single though.

I think CS Silk will have the lead for a long time. I am looking for Persistently to hit the board. According to the comments, she had some trouble in her race against Sky Diva. (probably her fault - not that I've seen the race though) the connections aren't bad at all. Phipps Stable/ Claude McGaughey.

right now my play will be

CS Silk over Persistently / Stardom Bound & Dream Express

and box all 4 in an exacta and dime Super

With Palacio de Amor there and being proven on this particular synthetic, I don't see CS Silk on the lead and if she is, it surely will be a contested one. You've got to respect any horse that McGaughey would send all the way out here and she didn't have the best of trips last time but she's always going to have traffic troubles unless she goes way wide. A lot for her to overcome here (second turn, new track, extra distance, better competition). I think she's up against it.
