Pick 4

Race 7: If we can beat the Clement, there will be a price here....going deep.

4 - Harmony Found - Going for three in a row. Filly has turned it around since her maiden breaker in June.
5 - Keri's Angel - Did not disgrace herself 1st off a 7 month layoff. Will be tighter today. Martinez reunites and they rattled off 3 in a row here last year.
3 - Offbeat Fashion - Will be overbet because of the connections. Was 6.5-1 in a Group 3 last year at The Curragh.
1 - Show Me Some Rythm - Regained her form in her last for the Bennett/Centeno duo. A repeat of that effort puts her in the mix. - Won
6 - Meddling - Motion filly gets back on the grass after tiring in an off the turf try last out. Ready to fire her best shot, but also may be underlaid because of the connections.
8 - Ten Bolts - 55 days off since her disappointing effort. Been working well a Palm Meadows. - 2nd - $1 Ex. paid $45.90
7 - Slickenside - I'm guessing Ronnie Allen keeps this one closer to the pace and tries to replicate her two lifetime victories with a stalking trip. Proctor 21% 2nd off. - 4th

Race 8:

2 - Repenting - Let's see....what to like...hmmm. Ness 42% off claim. This one drew off like a good one last out. Ness/Centeno clicking at 40%. Take your pick. - Won
6 - Heartaches - Turf experiment was a debacle. Back to dirt, back to sprinting. Bullet in holster. - 2nd - $1 Ex. paid $12.10

Race 9: Another that may force us deep.

9 - Smart Partner - His one lifetime turf try was good enough to win this. - 3rd - $1 Tri paid $70.40
1 - Z'bullseye - Speedball missed the break in his last outing. Centeno sees fit and will be gunning from the rail. - 2nd - $1 Ex. paid $20.10
4 - Rockhurst - A classy gelding, but has he lost his desire to hit the wire first? Hasn't won since '05. More likely to be picking up a piece of the tri. - Won
3 - Drinkwater - Distance may be too short, but he did run well last Sept. at BEL going 6f.
7 - Love My Mountian - Missed by 2.5 lengths at this level and dist. in January.

Race 10:

9 - Shananie's Honor - Dams babies have won 3 of 5 first time out. Sire's stats are not so good, but this one has shown enough in the am for KOC (who works them slow) to make me think she takes after her Mom's side of the family. Not much to beat here. Should be a juicy price.
5 - Real Conquest - Needed the experience. A better break today puts this one in the picture.
7 - Time for Jackie - Turning back and going turf to dirt. Her best race was at this distance. - Won
10 - City Connection - Another turf to dirt and a turnback in distance. May not fade this time.

Small Ticket:

1,3,4,5,6,8/2,6/1,3,4,7,9/9 = $60

Big Ticket:

1,3,4,5,6,7,8/2,6/1,3,4,7,9/5,7,9 = $210 paid $240.60

Tote Delay.

This is painful...

Was it just me or did the 1 horse go from 4-1 to 7-2 after the race was over?

Yes it did. The tote delay was so the Bennett family could get their late wager in.

Worried about the 6 here so hedging a bit with a late P3

Never fear, Ness will get you a 10pt Beyer move up off the claim......amazing that horse was 2-1...should've been even money.

With the rail set at 22', I think the outside horses are going to have difficulty going 5f. There is a good chance they will have to go wide and going wide with this rail out is death. Tough to regain momentum sprinting.

I'm liking the 1 - Z'Bullseye's chances of wiring this field to make it three in a row for Centeno.....

It's a very good point although I like the 7 if he is "right". I think I will box them

Didn't get it in time. Saved some dough.

Good hit Mike.

Grunder only called Time For Jackie about 10 seconds after he made his move up the rail and to the lead. A trained chimp could see it.

Why can't you be like Bigs and I and give out winners all the time?
