Pick 4:

Race 8:

5 - Sister Suave - Shortening back up to 6f. Chin Yang had a race to get to know this one. A repeat of her last race wins this. - 2nd - $1 Ex. paid $8.60
7 - Appealing Babe - Hard not to like a filly that is 2 for 4 lifetime in a N3L race. - Won
2 - Yes Its True Sherry - Got a wake up call three days ago. May reverse her form with a switch to Ronnie Allen. Only horse in the race to have crossed the wire first 4 times (DQ's from purse twice).

Race 9:

10 - Andromeda Gardens - Turns back to 7f after running into a buzzsaw first off the layoff. - 3rd
6 - Poison Pill - Only bad race was the turf try. - 4th
8 - Holiday Moment - Not a fan of Yamil, but the horse may be able to overcome the jock's incompetance. - Won

Race 10:

5 - Awsome Attitude - Another 25k Ness claim (see Lookinforthesecret) that he has turned into a monster. His chemist should be proud. - 3rd
1 - Constitution River - 2 for 2 at Tampa. The only possible challenger to the top choice. - 2nd

Race 11:

2 - Metro System - Working super. The gap from Jan. to March is troubling, but he was off track and could've been working all along. Hard to ignore the consistancy of those works. - 4th
9 - Glitterjazz - 5f will be the ticket for this one. Ran into a tough bunch in his last and faded late. - Won
1 - Loving Warrior - Shortening up and getting Lasix. Chance to blow them away late.

Small Ticket:

2,5,7/6,8,10/1,5/1,2,9 = $54

Big Ticket:

2,5,7/2,4,6,8,9,10/1,5/1,2,4,8,9 = $180

Good luck to RBE and Wicked Sweet in the 3rd.

Race 8
7 Appealing Babe – Winner of 2 straight with increasing figures each race, Mata gets into her early and it’s gate to wire time
5 Sister Suave – Would benefit from a little more distance, but is probably good enough against this bunch
3 Classic Set – Rounding back into form, won last at N2L, not much tougher here
6 Flying Finish – Toss the last in the slop; dropping after cashing @10 N2L

Race 9
10 Andromeda Gardens – Ness/Centeno; 32% on the cutback
9 No Lies – Sharp Yes it’s True from L. Scace, ignore the morning drills; Rosemary up
2 Divine Wonder – HVG for an ice cold Knipe barn; winner of 2 straight before getting hung 5 wide last
6 Poison Pill – missed by a neck going 6 1/2F last – extra dist may help here
8 Holiday Moment – Great looking horse, sorry looking jock…May win in spite of who’s on his back

1 Constitution River – 2 for 2 on the Tampa Turf; 2 for 3 at the distance on the turf… Mata gets after ‘em early,
5 Awesome Attitude – Ness. Ness. Ness. ;)
6 Heavyweight – 2-2-0 in 5 starts at the 5F turf sprint dist
4 Call Me Pete – Only beaten 3 ½ last Zaidie/Cardoso 30%
AE – move up if draws in – 12 Never Absent

9 Glitterjazz – could single here
8 Yastreb – R. Allen takes charge on the cutback
2 Metro System – bullets all over for this Jump Start firster

3,5,6,7//2,6,8,9,10//1,4,5,6//2,8,9 = 240.00

If those odds stay anywhere near 7-2 on the 5 here....there will be some win money tossed his way....

I don't think we will get any better than 2-1. I am keeping my eye on the Ziadie horse. I think he has a big early speed advantage here. If he floats back up near 4-1 he will probably be my play along with boxing with the 5.

You are probably right with the 4, but I think the 6, 7 and 9 will try to go with and soften him up. I think he will have to go sub 45 to get the lead.

Very true. If he goes sub 45 then he is toast and it sets up well for the 5. I think he might get away though.

Win bet on the 4 since he is up to 7/2. Boxing with the 5.

Brutal day. 42 straight races on dirt and no turf pedigree whatsoever and draws away like a graded stake winner.

Last grasp here.

Win bet on the 2.

That horse has killed me over the years. I bet him, he loses, I don't bet him, he wins.

I really really dislike Blind River Fox.

Now I feel better.

Now I feel better.

I am going to be redboarding this one all night as he probably should have been a backup for me considering his speed figs and jock. I just can't get over his lack of pedigree and the fact that 4 months ago he was slumming in 5K starter allowances at MNR & CT.

The good news is that if the 9 wins I get a cool $42 for 4/6 on the P6 :)

The 2 looked like he was spinning his wheels. A lot of effort with no result.

But he ran on okay late. Maybe he didn't like the inside.
