Magna PK 5

Leg A - Laurel - R10 - Conniver 60K

#9 Now It Begins - Comes back to her favorite track 5-3-1-1 and J/T win at a high %. Should be mixing it up early. Just missed in similar affair in Dec '07.
#8 For Kisses - Loves LRL as well 13 starts 7 wins and she'll benefit from quick early fractions as she looks to uncork her familiar late kick. 3rd last month in a G3 .

Leg B - Santa Anita - R4 - Clm 50K Turf

#10 Specialist Morgen J - Consistent sort drops to career low.
#9 Ten Downing Street - Coming in off win at same level.
#12 Don't Ya Lovett (NZ) - Kiwi bred has been solid in all 3 U.S. starts.
#2 Switzerland - Popular claimer makes 1st start on the turf.

Leg C - Gulfstream Park - G3 Skip Away

#5 Frost Giant - Heading in the right direction for Dutrow/IEAH. Dominated lesser in 1st start on dirt at the same distance earlier in the meet. Extremely dangerous here and should get some help from his stable mate.
#2 Gottcha Gold - Draw a line through his Synthetic effort at SA. Is he simply a Monmouth monster and can he duplicate those big figures on another track? Will have to deal with some pace pressure.

Leg D - Santa Anita - R5 - MSW 50K

#10 Scibelli - Has burned some $$$ in last two, but should appreciate the stretchout.
#4 Jumpin Charlie - Pletcher 1ster has shown a nice string of works.

Leg E - Gulfstream Park - Md80K Turf

#12 Burnished Copper - Serious contender based on his strong finish into slow fractions in last and the pace scenario should be more to his liking here.

Magna PK5 - 8 9 / 2 9 10 12 / 2 5 / 4 10 / 12 = $64

Tampa Bay Downs

R12 - G3 Tampa Bay Derby

#3 War Pass - The undefeated champ could win this with his C game. He'll look to make short work of this over-matched bunch and head to the Big Apple for the Wood.
#6 Big Truck - Look for him to secure the exacta and follow War Pass to NY.

Cold Exacta - 3 6

Oaklawn Park

R10 - G3 Rebel

#3 Stone Bird - Whitney homebred has started the year with back to back victories in Hot Springs going two turns. Lucas determined to have a Derby starter.
#2 Sierra Sunset - Strong performance in the G3 Southwest and looks to continue to improve.
#9 Z Fortune - No disgrace in having your only loss come against Pyro, but needs to impress to be considered a top flight Derby candidate.
#8 Anak Nakal - What happened in the FOY? Should bounce back with a better showing.

Tri Box

Santa Anita

R9 - G2 San Felipe

#1 Gayego - Loved his win in the San Pedro, although it was set up on a platter. Should sit a nice staking trip in his two turn debut.
#4 Georgie Boy - Easily handled two nice colts in the G2 San Vicente and is another one that must prove himself going longer.
#8 Shediak (Fr) - O'Neill picks up interesting colt that posted a couple of high RPR #'s across the pond. 1st time lasix won't hurt.
#3 Bob Black Jack - Must be able to rate if he expects to be around when it counts.
