I am on the prowl with this. I might not play the ticket I put together, but I will make it reasonable....Lets say under $212 for all tickets here, besides Mike because he always goes over that....

This is a non-descript, tough card.
And the jockey colony tonight is terrible.
Where the hell is P-val and Nakatani?
I'm going to pass on the pk6, and go for the early pick 4.

Anyone have any strong feelings on the first race, let me know.
6-horse field going 1-1/4 on the turf. I've changed my mind on this race several times, and am now leaning towards firewood.

Hooves,at this point,I am singling the 7 horse in the 6th race tonite. This is not a bad filly. She has made nice mid-race moves against much better. When she actually gets return on investment (for that move) tonite, you will be surprised how she miraculously decides she wants to keep running.I am not a fan of this trainer, but I think these girls here are "her people." I can understand not singling her,but to leave her out is borderline irresponsible activity.

Toss the full sister to American Memories(#11 Latin Memories.)American Memories showed a nice middle move in his first few races, but took about 3 starts before he had enough stamina to win. This filly is not working anywhere near as fast as her brother did.Puype works horses fairly aggressively when he goes for a win.Either this is the biggest hide job ever,or she is gunna need about 3 races to win.

I wouldn't drop that 3.As far as I know, she hasn't had her chance to run on Friday night, and she is the speed of this field. She has races that would win this.I will use both 3 and 7 if I can.The track has been fair, but Friday night? Who knows? ..By the way,Van Berg has been having a good meet.O.K.,Hooves,I am done buggin' ya.

Euro, you don't need all in that 3rd.Better chance of it snowing at HWD PARK tonite than there is that Craigmyle can get a horse to run.

First time poster, have enjoyed the conversation. Taking a shot with a smaller ticket. More of a pick 4 player.

Race 3 #1, #3, #8

Race 4 #8, #10

Race 5 #1, #3

Race 6 #7 Tough Race Taking a shot

Race 7 #8

Race 8 #6, #8, #12

Good Luck!

Crazy card. Decided to do the old one logical one and one long shot in each race then single in two of them....

3) 2,3 (sneaky connections on the #2, Killa 1 Stable make more betting then racing....a reach but speed should fizzle and someone is going to have to win.)
4) 10,11 (so i lied, both of these are logical)
5) 3,4 (Nick the Sarge is going to be dancing under the lights)
6) 7,12 (Lewis and Gryder booyaa @ 20-1 - these Tizzys can run once they get their head on right)
7) 8 (would like to use 4 Sante Fe here also)
8) 12 (hope he runs to a qtr of his purchase price!)

Won't actually bet this, but will take selections to put together a 'lottery' ticket for $4 or so.

3,5
3,9,11
3,5
1,3,7
4,8
8,12

Which would be $144, which is a lot more that I have in my betting account.

I know I am a wuss and a novice so I don't put in a lot of money. I bet for devilment. I do have a $4 place-all ticket that is still alive after the first. I figure that since my picks tend to finish second, the place all is the bet for me.
