Been waiting since 2-11-08 as described in the Sub-Forum 'Trip Notes' when I mentioned the horrible trip/ride given to Mostacolli Mort. He runs in this Alw 57000nx1 Friday at Santa Anita. He draws the outside post #7, which is good for him. Jockey switch to Tyler Baze which is also good. Concerned that Canani has elected to go on the synthetic rather than sticking to grass but, works have been excellent leading up to this race. Only other synthetic try was last May in the Alydar Stakes at Hollywood where he finished a non-threatening 6th to Awesome Gambler and Cobalt Blue. Plenty of pace to run at in this race which should set-up his closing kick. He clearly has faced the best competition of anyone in this field but is only 1 for 14 lifetime. Some up and comers in this race but no world beaters. I trust Canani as he takes off the blinkers and am willing to give him a try at a price that should be better than his morning line of 7/2.

For better or worse....................let your conscience be your guide.

I hope that this synthetic **** causes cancer and they have to remove it. Just sit back and go 10 wide and win. It's garbage.

I'd be having a bang up day if it wasn't for these tough beats in pick 4's. Trying to get that golden ticket.

It was on the scroll at the bottom of the screen on the SA feed. I saw it about four races ago.

Love it when a plan comes together...........disappointed in the odds but he was clearly best in this field. A little coin made to use for this weekend.

Nice to share a winner since all the 'cappers' here have helped me as well !!!

Great call....thanks for sharing with the board.

Canani must have put 10k on him this morning, opened up real low.

Canani is no dumb cookie and he knows that the way SA is playing right now, fit perfectly into Morty's finish. The horse is a straight up hanger though as he tried to hang but he just had too much left.

What you think of the San Felipe? I can't believe how fast Georgie Boy ran, absolutely HUGE. I like Gayego though, he seems like the one most likely to stretch out. Leparoux coming for Shediak is kinda interesting also. I doubt he is there for his health

Also, what does Zayat have on Gomez where he has to go to Oaklawn for Z Fortune? He passes up like 5 winners at SA to ride Z Fortune???

Z Fortune = better Derby contender than 5 SA winners?

Do you think that Gomez is giong to go without a mount for th Derby? not gonna happen. Z Fortune is not going to win the Derby, if Gomez were here, he could have gotten the Georgie Boy mount, not sure about him but better then Z f'n Fortune

You think Georgie Boy is better than Z Fortune? Not me...

But to answer your question, no, Go-Go will have no problem getting a Derby mount. Maybe the fact that he wanted to ride Z Fortune says something about the colt. Who knows...
